  1. Junk huh??? Care to race Blackburns truck for money????????? Oh and you can do plugs just as easy as a stock truck. hhhmmm.
  2. Hey Zippy our crew might be heading over there Sat. We have a new toy to play with.
  3. Yes the cast welds awesome with a good mig. Allthough a sdapter is not at all a bad idea. If you want to use the manis as the sole mounting though I would use a weld-l for strength in your adapter pipe. I love the ideas you have going, right in line with what I like too. I know a good harness guy too.
  4. You can tig weld the cast no problem. We do cast intake manifolds all of the time lol. Nothing can be as dirty as a Edelbrock intake. You are on the right track and using hose to connect the two is not going to hurt at all. Steel or alluminum bends with silicone couplers would be more attractive though. Remember you will see your IAT's go up a tad because of the recirc.
  5. The flanges are cut of the mani's and then the t3 flanges are welded on. The turbos hang right of the manis. Also no worry about WG plumming cause the turbos are internally gated. BTW I ment I love the truck, its going to be bad a$$.
  6. I love it. If you want to spend under $500 on two internally gated turbos and make 600hp look no further then ebay. Everyone will tell you they don't work blah blah blah. We did a GTO with two of them t3t04e with .63 hot sides. It went 12.4@118 at 6psi!!! this was a bone stock car with 6l truck mani's flipped upside down and backwards. Stock exhaust with the cats too.
  7. hahaha, never thought about checking a actual site, I was just being a smart ass. What motor are you running in the rat? That can give me a better idea of what to aim you to.
  8. Right it will work fairly well on a diesel of nearly the same cubes as your motor. But remeber yours start making power when the diesel stops. Thats why it has such a small exhaust side with a really ristrictive wheel.
  9. It would work sorta ok on a 4cyl. As for your 6.0l go to heatpumps.com lol. Not to mention you would wonder why you couldn't get more then 10 degrees of advance timing at 6psi lol. It would be like having a banana in the tail pipe.
  10. Right Chris's truck goes 119mph with a 3200ft da. With no juice just boost on a JY motor. Its that D word, still a damn fast truck though.
  11. I wouldn't waste my time with a maggie on a motor like that. Not worth it to add 50-100 over what it will make N/A.
  12. Right how about keeping belts on that thing. Also the numbers could be beat by 100hp with a more capable blower or turbo at the same or lower boost level. Also while being safer to run on pump gas because of the lower IAT's. I guess it would be fun to do burnouts with no the less. The 122 is still can end up fairly winded on a bone stock 4.8l or 5.3l let alone a all out 6l build.
  13. Turbosmart is of the highest quality when it comes to gates, blow offs and boost controllers.
  14. 2.89 a gallon for meth here at the pump, thats what Chris's truck has been drinking.
  15. We will see what t-netics is gonna do and how fast they get it back. Go figure JY motor 1 turbo 0.
  16. 11.89@119 DA was 3200ft. Then................turbo failure......F.....
  17. He is gonna have to worry about catching Chris B. first. He has one fast JY motor in that thing. oooooo.....thats right I said it. Any way that is looking pretty sick!!!!!!
  18. Looks awesome. Good luck holding down those heads. As long as you have the good block you might as well get the 6 bolt heads. How much power do you want to make?
  19. Bring the truck Zip, at least it will look pretty. Get some runs in early in the AM before it gets hot.
  20. No kiddin Zippy, this is going to be a weird M event for sure. We are a custom to snowmobile suits for M events.
  21. Yes, with the 112 will do a better job getting it down the track. Oh, and yes I am the DOP guy, out by Zippy.
