  5. sounds as though the cylinders got washed down. the tune had to be way off to do that w/o running o2's even. Should have been professionally tuned from the start.

  8. I say just turn the stock one up and run 10's Bitch. Don't worry I have the whole short block thing handled. No need for reworked heads unless you want to change the turbo and break the 1000hp mark.
  9. I agree with Zippy here, if you change your filter at least every 5-6k you won't have to worry anyhow. Never seen a engine failure due to a small filter.
  10. That cam will not work well with the ol' radix. If your serious about making a ton of power I would have a solid tensioner on it any how.

    My Turbo Build

    You could go 10's on stock cube motor with a 76, so we know its got enough motor and turbo to go 10's. You will be fighting high p/r's from the exhaust housing when doing so though. 1000fwhp yes, 1000 to the tires....no, especially if its awd. Looks very nice though, that intercooler should do the job nicely too. Its similar to Blackburn's and he went 119 with full weight in 85 degree heat(3200ft DA), with lots of meth. The heads are a nice choice because of the deck thickness too, should stay down with what power you will make.

  20. Just like running a carb...its better for hp and iat's bacause of where the fuel comes in and cools the air. Just doesn't idle as well. BTW....this is where you are heading right, I didn't bother reading the article.
  21. Its a custom header I built. A turbo will make life a lot better on the 2.2!!!! Just imagine pulling in front of traffic with more then 12hp hahaha.
  22. Another GTO, Single S374 with the race cover (10" w/ a 5.5" inlet) and a 1.1 hot side. Thanks for the thread Zippy.

  24. 23mph in the big end Stewart, I would say it likes the cooler air.
