  1. That was actually my brother working. I don't work there any longer but I was there racing. I believe the first street legal is July 15 and 16. Day races now as there are no lights yet. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hopefully they have the lights up by winter. I wanna run the best I can
  2. Is this an LS2 ?? If so I got dibs. How much for intake manifold with everything on it ??
  3. I know this is off amsoil topic, but I was going to try the Lucas oil semi synthetic fluid this time, and see how it does.
  4. Sounds good Jon, let us know how it turns out
  5. Nice job John I saw you working the lights at the PSCA event the 9th-11th. I was gonna say Hi, but it tough while you are working. Hopefully we can hook up at the next event. When are they opening the track for street legals ??
  6. That black AV looks sweet I wonder why they just didn't make the trucks look the same. It make the after market much easier to make parts for. Now instead of getting good parts for a lot of trucks we will end up with mediocre part for a bundh of different trucks
  7. Here is a pick I had in my SS garage, you kind kind of see what they look like. It does come with 2 fan blades, I just had one of at the time.
  8. I was wondering if anyone was using a catch can ?? Are you hooking it up to the back of the driver side valve cover then to the top of the intake ?? What is the purpose of the rubber line that connects to the passenger side valve cover then goes to the intake manifold right behind the TB ??
  9. Justin, Are you going with a smaller or bigger cam ??? What does the TB Convt stall at behind the 408 ???
  10. I am definitely not ready to turn my truck in on one of these yet I guess we we have to wait and see what some different options and colors look like
  11. I have talked to the guy at church performance before. David. I think if I remeber right he was looking for a bigger shop and did not have the AW dyno set-up yet. That was awhile ago though
  12. I can let you borrow mine, but only if the project is for a sheetmetal intake and you can make one for me also. Seriously though you can use it if you can give it back unmolested when your done.
  13. I would put a rollmaster double roller timing chain in for sure
  14. Ben, sorry to ask so many questions, but I need some real world answers. - Is your cam ground with a XE-R lobe ?? - How is the drivablility with that cam ?? - What rpm do you think you are making peak power at ?? - What are you shift points set to at ?? - What is your idle set at ?? - Do you think your stall is sized about right ?? Thanks
  15. Hey Guys, I am putting my 408 together, and wanted to get a run down on everyone on here that has a 400 + ci motor. I wanted to see if you could list: Cam Specs, Head Specs, CR, Rockers, Stall, what rpm you shift, and are making peak power at ? I guess anything you can thing of that might help. Thanks
  16. You will lose some bottom end, but it is also going to be pretty loud. If you wanna get a glimps of what it sounds like disconnest the exhuast flanges in the middle of the truck and see how it sounds.
  17. Taylor, Great point. I always hated feeling like I had to justify things to the Ex's If being single wasn't so damn awesome, I'd ask you out, It seems like you got this stuffed figured out
  18. I have seen and heard in real life. If you are sick of the Flowmaster sound, I don't think you will be disappointed with this system. I have never tired to do a sound clip, so maybe someone will chime in and shed some light on that.
  19. From what I've seen of the B&B exhaust, it looks nice, and sounds nice, but just not loaud enough for me. Its also a little pricey. Put a sound clip up when you get it installed.
  20. Grim Smoker, Where did you find that shirt at ?
  21. I am still not sure if this is a joke or not ??? Spare parts I wanted to mention that I am partly posting this because of a thread posted earlier regaurding Lingenfelter.
