if your battery was super dead, you may need to run it a bit to relearn the idle settings. when i replaced my battery i had the same thing, but cleared up after a couple restarts.. good luck

on a flat road, witch there is not many here, i get 17-19 @55 highway 15.5-16.0 @70-75 town 14.0 aprox.

about 2-3+ mpg loss. i know the 10% ethanol is not hurting the newer models, as i would be concerned for older TBI and carb vehicles. it will start raising hell with some of the rubber components.. my same b**ch more money at the pump, and less mpg..

well I've been out of work since Sept. so i know what the job market is not doing around here..there is a bunch of on line job searches engines you can try. local on line papers will carry it also. here in CA. the employment resources board web site has a job listings for the hole state by county. check CT and see if they have the same kind of listing. it took over 6 weeks before i got my first ck. from the state, the WE HAVE NO MONEY reason was given for the late payment.. just keep good thoughts and cut back on everything you can. BTW.. here where i live, the city of BARSTOW has 24,000 people in it as of Dec.31 22% were unemployed, and the government contractors are going to lay off more here real soon..so I'm not expecting anything soon. good luck

yes sir... it still comes down to a personal like/dislike. me, i have always liked the color blue. all the different shades. my 01 Z71 was Indigo blue metallic, real nice IMO but the SS was not offered in it. now if the SS came in Hugger Orange, that would be a tough call..

i think the lay out is fine.. easy to navigate thru the site with out a lot of clutter to go thru..IMO

how many of you have had your front differentials rebuilt, and also have the low speed GROWL.. i Finley got a service rep and 2 tec to state the low speed growl IS NOT NORMAL.. spent a good part of 7 hrs. yesterday at the dealer. mine sounds like it was coming from the right wheel hub, but it is coming more from the center, hung 2 microphones under the truck. long story short..GM engineers were on the phone with the tec's for quite some time to figure things out. the engineers have no answered at this time. BUT they started a claim file on it after the service rep came up with about 6 pages of warranty repairs of another SSs they had there, and was referred to other dealers to compare if any of them can fit it. and compare what has been done to mine. so could everyone who has had their front ends rebuilt or needs to be, or no issues yet PLEASE post... year mileage what had to be replaced was it covered under warranty did you sell after /before and if you know of any former members who had issues who has the growl THANK ALL... ................................................................................ ........................ mine 03 millage- 190 replaced hole front assembly under warranty have the growl

to get GM to admit that our low speed turning GROAN is not normal and fix it..

your probably going to need the cats. check with a shop that does inspections to confirm this. if like CA testing, if your not throwing/stored any codes, and the sniffer is good. with the tune you should not have any trouble.. passed 2 smog inspections tuned here in CA with no problem at all.. good luck EDIT.. as for muffler, i think all you need is a muffler of some kind WITH OUT ANY LEAKS in the system
