  1. Last weekend I found a guy with a 2001 Ferrari 550 Maranello with a 6spd manual for sale. It is actually really hard to find these maranellos, especially with a 6 speed. I searched all over Canada and all the 575 had the F1 tranny. I located a 03 black 575 with a 6spd but it had 30000km on it, a little too high for my liking especially on a Ferrari. The 2001 Ferrari 550 maranello had low km (3200km), 6spd, full tubi exhaust (it is very loud), imola sport brake kit, and tuning from novitech. I drove it around and bought it the same day. It is fast, loud and beautiful. This thing turns heads everywhere it goes. I got it for a pretty reasonable price, only thing is it needs a good detail job and an interior cleaning, it was raining/snowing when I picked it up, so it is a bit dirty inside and out. I'm very satisfied with my first Ferrari and the wife didn't seem to mind having a ferrari. (she didn't like the srt8 or the tbss that much). Instead of selling the 03 ZO6, I decided to get rid of the TBSS while it is still new, so I don't take a hard hit. I've already got a few calls about it since I put it for sale.
  2. No doubt the Evos are fast ass cars right out of the box, but I've never been a fan of the evo or the sti. If speed is what your going for, they are probably one of the best bang for the buck, but personally I think they are ugly as sin. I'd take a slower but better looking car in a second over the evo, but thats just me.
  3. I'll keep it short, most people already said the right things. You got caught doing something stupid, the Judge will not be on your side. The chances you get out of the ticket are slim to none due to your prior record. It doesn't matter if you were racing or not, the cops word is what will be taken. Count yourself lucky they didn't impound your truck. Like everyone else said SLOW THE FU(K DOWN!!, and you won't need our advice. One thing that really bothers me, is that with those heavy 26 inch wheels and stock brakes, at 60-80mph there is no way in hell your truck is going to stop if you need it to. Dude you should wise up, cheating on girls, excessive speeding not a very good future...
  4. Most legit would be the ones where you actually pay for the songs, such as itunes. But bearshear works well.
  5. Seriously, the cheating on the girlfriend thing is not cool at all. Guys that cheat are rated really low in my books. It just shows the lack of respect for another person you are supposed to love. If you treat someone your suppose to love that badly, I couldn't imagine how you treat regular people. Cheating is low man and unless you change your ways, I don't see a good future for you. If you keep up the reckless driving and cheating, your only girlfirend will be your right hand or your prison mate. By the way, Dylan's truck was one of favorite red ones before he sold it. Big rims don't mean the world to everyone.
  6. Very cool That's the only thing that makes me regret getting the awd version. The exhaust does sound mean too
  7. It looks mid 80s, probably 84-86. Those were some bad ass cars. I personally loved the Grand National.
  8. I've seen one hidden away at a dealer with all the white tape still all over it. It does look better in person, but I would take a classic over it anyday.
  9. I've been in a similar case recently. It's always hard to watch a loved one go into surgery. I know I was filled with worry, angst and plenty of what if feelings. It's probably one of the worst feelings in the world. I did nearly the same thing as you spending all possible time with them before they went into surgery. It never helps when the doctors explain the complications and risks that can accompany any surgery. The good thing, is that now there is so much technological advancements and a better understanding of human physiology and anatomy that the risk has gone down substantially. I'm glad to hear your father has come through probably the most risky surgery well. My prayers are with your family that he will pull through it perfectly. I know the feeling really opens your eyes, but it will make you a stronger person in the end.
  10. I'm sorry to hear about your loss. It's always hard to deal with losing a pet, especially when she went in such a harsh way. With time the pain will heal, and these bad memories will be replaced by good ones.
  11. One of my friends has a Cayenne Turbo S with the evotech upgrade and claims over 560 at the fly, I raced him once with the blown 4.8is running 9psi, I can get him off the line and likely hold him till, the quarter but the top end on that porsche is nuts, on a roll I'm finished. I have yet to run him in the TBSS or the SRT8 but the SRT8 feels about the same as the beamer due to its lighter weight. The regular cayenne turbo should be no problem for your TBSS, regular cayenne turbos run close to 6 for 0-60 and low 14s for the 1/4. The Cayenne S or regular one is just a joke.
  12. I know exactly how you feel, I saw my 2500HD drive right out of my driveway. Lost 2 cars that day . I really ope they do find your truck in mint condition. Good luck dealing with insurance, battle with over the price of your truck, they will try and lowball you every time.
  13. Well considering it doesn't have rust and is driveable the price is pretty good. I think the red looks sharper than the black.
  14. It has a lot of power, but to me it seems just like a regular stang, the styling is not distinctive enough to distinguish it for a GT to most drivers. It's price is in vette territory, which is the way I would go.
  15. No range rover is under 7 seconds to 60. They wern't built for performance. The blown one is the fastest of the pack and still slower than an stock SSS. You can get the regular range rover with the blower on it as well, but it might just break the 7 sec mark, but they are heavy and meant for luxury tourning and definately not for performance. The new escalade is actually pretty damn fast, neck to neck with an SSS. The only SUVs currently on the market that run in the same range as the TBSS aka 13 sec, would be the SRT8, cayenne turbo or turbo S and the ml63amg. Nice kill Dylan
  16. BMW is extremely expensive when it comes out of warranty. I had over 10,000 worth of components changed on an m5 and sold it before warranty was gone, because I knew it would just be a money pit. As for reliability, I know for a fact that the 7 series has the worst record of all the beamers. The 02+ generation is better but not considerably. Yes a BMW will get more attention to the gold diggers, and has a plush interior and an element of class, but insurance for a 21 year old on a 7 series beamer will be pretty rough. I don't think you should buy a car based on what will get you tail, but see if it suits what you like. If you are after those material girls, I would look for a nice flashy sports car/convertible that is high price. Hence, M3 vert, porsche, mercedes sl etc.. Just a heads up too, the 7 series depreciates like a rock, at this point your SS may retain more value.
  17. That would be nice, but not looking that high. The styling is sorta off on that one, looks like a TVR Tuscan. Way too much coin for a car. I'd rather buy a vette and send it Lingenfelter or anywhere else than give Hennessey any of my money, I'd probably have to sue him and I wouldn't even get my hood back I think I've found the car I'm looking for, I'm going to look at it tomorrow.
  18. I'd have to disagree, the sound from the 5.75L V12 is amazing, I prefer it over the 4.3L V8 in the 430. I prefer the nice streamline, elegant look of the 575 over the modena. Also I like the rarity of the 575.
