  1. you're gonna have to turn the torsion bolts to lower the front even more to even it out or get a slight rake
  2. I hope my wheels clear em... I got a higher offset so they would tuck under the fender lip so getting spacers would do just the opposite... Plus I hear that spacers put too much strain on the lug bolts... and for my daily driver in below freezing weather 3/4's of the year, i don't think it would be ideal. Ray, that would be awesome if you could get us that deal! Eric, keep up the good work! Thanks fellas!
  3. OMFG I would be killing someone if that ever happened to me! They didnt even leave it on blocks!!! The EFFIN ROTORS?! EFF THIEVES!
  4. One thing I see that you can fix is the lid. You see how it sticks out towards the back and the front of the bed and front of the lid don't line up? I did this with mine and it looks a whole lot better in my opinion. Truck looks great tho!
  5. omg that camaro is sick! espeically with the ground effects package! ONE DAY I WILL OWN ONE!
  6. Ride quality without after market shocks isn't bad, but it will probably wear out the stockers because they're constantly being compressed more than their supposed to. I say do it right the first time around and get em... I have belltech street performance shocks and love em
  7. like what slammed said, a 3... the rear is really stiff, but if you install the right bumpstop and cut&drill it right it shouldn't be AS bad. It handles great though, especially if you take fast corners But if you're REALLY concerned about keeping the factory ride quality and have a bunch of crappy roads, just go with the shackles and hangers. Hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
  8. truck looks great! I think a 5 inch drop in the rear would look lower than that.. What components did you use? Post pix of the dash!!!!
  9. Of course the GB comes up after I just received my new kit today haha
  10. I've been drawing up some ideas a bit different to rays because the 6" path of movement would most like scrape the ground on some lowered trucks like mine. Ray, if you actually start selling these, it might be easier to modify yours than for me to start from scratch haha. Please keep us posted.

    8000k Drl

He installed HIDs in place of DRLs so there was fabrication needed. Your sig says you have PIAA extremes so they aint HIDs right? Not trying to be an ass, just trying to clarify
  12. All i can tell you is i love my leaf springs. The stiff ride is not to bad as long as you take care of the rear bumpstops.
  13. Ya gotta give us a little more info. Do you tow? If so, what do you tow and how often? I understand your new and all, just try to be more specific in what YOU want. What looks good to us may not look good to you. A lot of people like the 2/2 drop (2" Drop in front / 2" drop in rear). For some, a 2/3, 2/4, or 3/4 is perfect. But you can only go so low with awd before running into problems. I actually used to have about a 3/4 but recently lowered the front another 1/2 inch. Its all preference and what your budget is bro. But i can break it down for you like this. You have about 1.5-2" of free adjustment in your stock torsions so if you want a budget drop you can go this route: turn torsion bolts 7-8 times to drop the front and install 2" drop shackles for the rear. In order to keep near stock ride quality, you'd be better of using 2" drop spindles from belltech or mcgaughys. Alternatively you could get lower control arms from DJM which allow 3" i believe but I have heard mixed reviews on them. For the rear, you have a few choices. A simple 1-2" drop is achievable with shackles from any manufacturer. Belltech part number is 6400 To add 2" to the shackle drop, you can install hangers. These a a bit of a pain to install if you dont have the right tools. Shackles and hangers usually come combined in a 2/4 kit. Another choice you have is installing 3-4" drop leaf springs. You will loose towing capacity and it will ride a bit more firm but some actually like that. The mcgaughy deluxe kit is very popular with silverados and sierras. If you're not sure what you really want, search the site more for pix and see what you like best. Most of the time their drop components will be listed so see what's best for you. Hope that helps.
  14. looks much better! time for a new sig eh? just curious, which approach did you take to tackle the stock hangers and how long did that alone take ya? oh yeah, did you mount the bumpstops directly to the frame?
  15. is that the 3 or previous 4" setup? That looks lower than 3" but it looks great
  16. Belltech everything - Front: Spindles/Torsion Rear: Leaf Springs Street Performance Shocks on all 4 corners
  17. This just gets better and better! keep us posted bro!
  18. Daym that sucks... I'd buy them in bulk but I live in Alaska so the cost for me to ship out individually would defeat the whole purpose of the entire purchase haha. Oh yeah, any updates on the brackets?
  19. yeah I think it would look better with a radix mounted under there but it still looks great. Can't run down the track anymore with those shaved handles though can ya?
  20. I've been thinking about getting these since last year, are they really difficult to install? How many degrees are the belltech bushings? I have their spindles and my torsions are turned nearly to the max. I don't want to order them if they wont have enough adjustment
  21. I already talked to ray about the rotors shipped to Alaska on my fedex account, but I was asking if your source for the calipers would ship to AK since you said the price was shipped to the lower 48.. Unless ray is your source for those also haha. Has anyone tried contacted John aka kelleyperformance to see if he could find a deal on the banjo bolts and crush washers? He's always been helpful to me when I needed part numbers and such
  22. I understand that the front is 15"-6piston, and the rear is 14"-4piston, but what i meant to ask was if this rear set up makes enough contact unlike when the 14" was originally paired with the 6piston fronts. What?????????????????????? haha I'll just wait till everything is ready to go and i'll get in contact with both of you.
  23. Daym i guess i misunderstood what ray said... hmmm.. so with the rear calipers being 4 pistons, with the 14" rotor combo do just fine unlike when paired with the front 6 pistons? Hey Dk, do you know if he ships outside the lower 48? I live in Alaska so if he can't send it to me, do you think there's anyway I could have the calipers sent to you? Then when you're ready, throw the brackets and whatever else needed in the box and ship it out to me?
