  1. Hi, Are these the new style or old style headers?
  2. Same with the whipple... it boggles my mind that these companies release systems with pre-boost IAT sensors...
  3. Shouldn't take anywhere near that long to remove the coil...
  4. Quick solution is to remove the coil pack, install the sending unit, then re-install the coil pack. Should clear just fine (mine did). Justin
  5. Wow, thanks Zippy. Means a lot coming from you.
  6. That sucks. I've called magnuson at least 8 times for parts and they've been great to deal with every time.
  7. Okay, give magnuson a call and tell them you'd like the front balance tube and fittings for your radix. It's a flexible hose and should be $30-40. Helps to balance the fuel pressure between banks.
  8. Does your radix have a front balance tube (line connecting the fuel rails at the front)? 4% variance between the two is nothing. When you get up to 8-10% variance or higher, then you should start to be concerned. Before I installed a front balance tube on my radix, I would see variance as high as 14% on decel.
  9. You'll never ever see fuel trims = 0 in the long term. It's just the nature of atmospheric changes, fuel composition, quality, etc. The closer to 0 you are, the better as there is less compensation having to occur. If you're seeing 6 on one bank and 10 on the other at low load and you recently installed the 42lb injectors along with the radix, I'd bank on that change being the culprit. Did you use the magnuson handheld to update your tune or do it yourself? If you did it yourself, did you alter the injector voltage offset table along with the flow rate table?
  10. I think you're confusing the EFI101 class with the EFILive specific class. The EFILive class has been held in SoCal, DFW and the Albany area.
  11. Your EFILive license that you used on your truck is locked to that PCM's serial number. Thus, whomever purchases this will need to use the remaining available license to tune their truck. V1 will work on all Gen-III motors, 00-07 classic 4.3L V6s, LLY Duramax Diesels, LB7 Duramax Diesels, 01-05 Allison Transmissions, 02-05 T-blazers (and others with 4.2L). How far would you be willing to travel for the EFILive course?
  12. Every Radix'd truck I've ridden in/driven has had a whistle as the bypass valve is closing (edge of boost/vac). I'd say it's normal.
  13. V2 will work with many more vehicles than V1. Why are you wanting to switch?
  14. I've updated my profile now, I'm back in VA for a couple of years. I probably won't even have the bumper fixed while living in this apartment. I'd hate to shell out the cash to cover my deductible (assuming I can't find the culprit), just to have it happen again in another month. I definitely hate the truck looking like I have serious parking issues though...
  15. Yeah. Worst part is that the other side of the bumper looks much like this one from other incidents. This was the worst so far though, as it has altered the shape of the bumper. I'm heading out tonight with a flashlight to try and find the car.
  16. Maybe I'm just some sort of prodigy around here or something, but I've never hit another car in a parking garage in the state of VA. While living here a couple of years ago, this SS was hit 4 times in my parking garage at work. Once in each corner, mostly just bumper damage, never a note left. I then lived in CA for a year and a half, wasn't hit once. I'm back in this state for a little under two months now and it appears that I may have been hit twice now, most recently this week in my apartment parking lot. The pass rear bumper is now pushed in a bit where the cladding is supposed to meet the bumper cover, and there is a kaliediscope of paint where shiny arrival blue used to be. And again, no note. Seriously, where the hell did these people learn to drive.
  17. Sorry to hear that Steve, I hope they catch the thieves and give them a good beating. I'm a fan of the blackjack as well.
  18. Yep. And it was right at 6hp more at peak without the filter than with it. Up to about 4400rpms, torque was the same with the filter as without. Wish we had a stock intake available that day to test with.
  19. His is definitely a fun ride. He's launching at a point where he's making well over 500ft-lbs of torque to the wheels.
  20. Anything in the 11.5:1 - 13:1 range will yield close to the same power (chpspecial and 12'srock can confirm this). More fuel = better thermal protection.
  21. I suspect I know what the cause is. PM me with the name of your previous tuner and if it's who I suspect, I'll give you a nice quick fix for it.
  22. Hey Greg, Sorry for not returning your phone call right away. I purchased my set on eBay from a seller named wefuelu or something along those lines for about 43 or 44 each. Justin
