  1. Welcome aboard! My wife is a San Diego native (El Cajon) and we'll be moving back there in a few years.
  2. You want to be in PE at the very latest right when you enter boost. I set them up to be at 35-45% depending on the pulley and engine combo.
  3. Hey, My wife posted up on GMFullsize about it. We'll take it. How soon do you need to be rid of it? Justin
  4. My process is this. Grab VIN from Customer, either through their calibrations that they've emailed (using one of my scan cables) or as they've told me. Go to calid.gm.com and grab appropriate OS and calibration IDs. Locate matching OS and cal IDs from my stock of factory tunes (Typically not needed if they've emailed this to me) Save copy of stock tune to a folder specific to customer Save modified copy of tune to that folder If the PCM was sent to me and the OS matches the latest available: Hook PCM to bench Harness Reflash Calibrations only Wait 15 seconds Ship If it's PCM from my stock or customer supplied and OS does not match: Hook to bench harness Full Flash OS and Calibrations Wait 15 seconds Change VIN (as applicable) Wait 15 seconds Verify that VIN was changed Ship
  5. The 2004 trucks had a returnless fuel system, whereas the 2003 trucks have a return system. Your injector flow rate table needs to be adjusted accordingly. Justin
  6. The PCM is constantly learning, so it won't matter if he disconnects the battery or not. Justin
  7. Still for sale, email is on its way.
  8. *** Second Group Buy Batch Update *** I've got 7 orders lined up for this next batch. I only need one more to make it happen. I'd like to place the order this friday, so if anybody else wants in, please let me know. Thanks, Justin
  9. Hey Jonathan, Check for a broken spark plug as well. Cracked plug could easily cause it to run rough and is easy to miss. Justin
  10. We *may* put on a course in the DC area at some point.
  11. Definitely don't let the TPS enabler stay at 75%. The radix builds boost at very low throttle percentages and you'll end up in closed loop at nearly full boost if he keeps it at 75%.
  12. Great Times Jeremy. You trapped quite well.
  13. Absurdly rich is how I would describe it... And it won't lean out as it learns...
  14. check out www.netloanfunding.com I used to work with these guys back when I was in another role at eBay. They'll fund anything.
  15. They both use HPTuners, and if you've got a tune from Nelson, it's locked -- you wouldn't be able to udate it. If you're just looking to be able to log and not update your tune, the V1 scan tool might be all that you need. The software is free, so if you wanted to send your logs to zippy or nelson, they would be able to read them. The V1 scan retails for $249 and is also a part of the GP. Justin
  16. Alright, I have enough interest for an order and plan to place it this evening. If anybody else would like to get in on this, please let me know. Thanks, Justin
  17. Now that's a loaded question if I've ever seen one
  18. There's a Dec 2nd G2G??? What time? I'll be dyno tuning that day in Temecula...
  19. Looks like a blast Buddy and I tried to flip as many times as we could on the zipper back in high school... Went damn near 400 times on one ride if I remember correctly.
