  1. The good ole illegal California Air Resources Board... How can a group that is appointed, not elected, be able to regulate and impose laws on the people that are never voted on? ZERO voter representation with respect to that evil organization.

We have two types of mail order tunes available. They are a traditional mail order tune and a scan cable mail order tune. With the traditional tune, you provide your VIN, answer a set of questions and we will mail out a tuned PCM to you. With the scan cable tune, you pay a security deposit and we ship out a cable that you use to collect data from your vehicle as you drive. Using this cable, we're able to custom tailor your tune to your specific vehicles operating conditions.
  3. Not at all. We'll be coming up with time slots here in the next couple of weeks to accommodate everybody that's on the list. Justin
  4. If you're still running the stock MAF, you'll be fine with your modifications.
  5. I live in Alexandria, meet people in the Springfield area all the time for custom tunes. I own Black Bear Performance. Justin Edit: I've got a blue SSS. Did I happen to see you on Kingstowne Blvd near manchester lakes a couple of weeks back?
  6. Definitely rocks. We had one for a week over Christmas. LS3 is fantastic.
  7. It's an IAT resistor mod. Calling it tuning is an insult to tuners everywhere.
  8. I'm interested in them, just need to determine fueling needs specifically. Justin
  9. Welcome aboard. If you see a Blue SS or Red tahoe with "Black Bear Performance" stickers on the rear windows, you've spotted one of my rides.
  10. Agreed. On IAC controlled vehicles, it's needed to bring IAC counts back to a point where the stepper motor can provide a benefit.
  11. Yep, that would be my guess too. If it was tuned for Meth and it wasn't spraying, could easily lean it way out.
  12. BS. Big claim is that it recovers fuel that would otherwise be taken care of by the cat converter. We're talking about hydrocarbons that are so scarce they are measured in parts per million... Don't expect to see any gains there. Justin
  13. Hey Guys, Did it start this immediately after the PCM installation? Notice it in gear or park? Justin
  14. 3302 and 3402... Wonder if the age explains why they've gotten so much noiser in the past year and a half... Time to change em.
  15. I'll be there on Saturday with the Fullsizechevy.com crowd. Justin
  16. I'm in Alexandria, VA (much to my dismay) but will be back in the bay area before the end of October to do some tuning. I attended UC Davis, so it's not uncommon for me to be back that way. The software is free though, so that's not a problem. The scan cable just collects data, no flashing with it.
  17. Must be that time of the year... I've been inundated myself.
  18. A PCM was sent out today to Alex with the latest GM Cal for him.
  19. Yep, until some judge in the ninth circuit court there decides that the voters wishes are not what's best for the state and unilaterally rules it legal. The quiet conservatives struck down gay marriage, but we all know how that's gone...
  20. Glad to hear it's running well. Send me a log when you get a chance and I'll check it right out. Thanks, Justin
  21. It doesn't have the ring of a scam, since he did provide payment for the sub. He's done his part of the deal. If he provides an address in New York, ship it to it and you should be in good shape.
  22. If it ever truly happens, I'll let you know.
