i used the MAF sensor spray. yeah, i guess i should look into new cats. would an exhaust shop even touch em?

damn, i'm thinking it could be a bad cat too. i changed the plugs and wires this spring. i just cleaned the MAF, so i'm narrowing it down to a bad cat. how much would it cost to get it replaced at the dealership? should i look into getting hi flow cats instead? i should probably cut back on octane boost...

so now the light started flashing on me. I passed someone on the highway this morning and it flashed for little bit then went back to a steady light. Is a dealership visit next?

These past few days, I've thrown the P0300 code twice in a row. maybe it was my cheap ass or what, but i was at half tank and filled up with regular, along with two bottles of octane boost. before i filled up, the truck was last filled with 90 octane. the truck ran fine. could that be a cause for the CEL? i also swapped my AEM filter with my extra one, maybe it was over oiled? i dont think it would be the cats, cause i don't really smell the rotten egg smell. i added some octane boost and fuel system cleaner (since i couldnt find sea foam) and filled up with supreme. any other ideas as to what would be causing the random misfire code?

any interest in PAC AOEM-GM24 converter? so you can use a sub/amp with the bose system? $30. i'm getting a new deck soon, so i won't really need it.

hey mr. p, is it different on an 04? pcv hose is a lot thinner than that. and doesnt even have the restrictor or valve in it.

probably raise it a little, maybe less than half an inch. i know it took around 200lbs of sand bags to lower the rear of my truck.

so the PCV Hose is the one you use to suck in Seafoam?

what brand of throttle body/intake cleaner did you use? my truck is due for an oil change, and i wanted to do all that stuff before i switch over. Did you guys notice the rough idle at stoplights and such? i notice it most when i'm at a light, RPMs are fluctuating up and down around 500.

haha, i remember in my subaru days, we'd have meets at red robin, and if there's fresh snow... those were the days. tomorrow's a "maybe." i want to avoid anywhere near the strip at night. but depending on the time, maybe i can stop by where ever you guys meet up. how about a lunch meet, or meet in the afternoon on sunday?

would this work with an iPod touch? and would it work even though i have the PAC behind the deck?

i washed my truck the other day cause it was covered in snow and i couldn't see shiet leaving the hospital (too lazy and tired to scrape the windows). when i'm cheap, i go to rainmaker for $6. hahaha. i like mobil 1, it's a little cheaper than RP. and also, i dunno if it was my STi or what, but it burnt up a quart and a half of RP once, but it never burns up Mobil 1. i'm up for a meet this weekend.

I love my XD45. you shoulda got it on base. i got mine for $500 there. did come with all the holsters and speed loader and what not. I just got a Blackhawk CQC Serpa level 2. the gun bug bit me again, so i think all further modding on the truck is on hold for now.... speaking of truck mods.... looks like i need a new Motorized cut out. the motor busted off on mine. i think it was from when i curb hopped to avoid an accident. hey 10zin, were you at burger king around 10pm. the one on the strip?

yeah, this red v6 mustang was ****ing with me on old seward a few nights ago. red w/ tinted windows. they kept looking over at me like they wanted to run, so i opened the cut out he wanted to race again but i had to shut down cause i almost bottomed out my truck. you guys ever notice the dip in teh road near China Lights/ Chevrolet of South Anchorage? they tried to catch me at the light at old seward and omalley. definately not worth a 1/4 tank of gas being wasted we should all start posting pics of our trucks, just so we know who's who on the roads

are the full-size SRT-10s as quick as the RC ones? i think they're all automatic. there's one here in town that always goes out of his way to f*ck with me on the road. i can never catch him at a light though, he always wants to race from a roll.

have you guys seen the mesh (i think its abs plastic) grill shell on ebay or on www.sporttruckdirect.com? here's a pic i was thinking of getting it and painting the grill part black and the outer shell part red to match the truck. what do you guys think?
