yeah, a friend of mine bought a set of those projectors for his sierra and they go from 9006 to H3 bulbs. so even with HIDs, the H3 won't put as much light out.

I should have you check it out sometime Matt. I parked it in the garage yesterday to let the snow melt, and i'll probably bring it in this morning when I get off work. I'm thinking it is the coolant cause it smells sweet. and i think i'm well over 70,000 miles. is that when water pumps normally go? is there anything i can check to see if it is actually the pump?

did you do this your self? i think i'm having the same problem? is the coolant like purple or pink?

I'm glad i live in AK, we can conceal carry and even open carry without a permit. but i've done a few classes before i started carrying.

yeah, i try to only go to the drive thru every two weeks, and when i do have time, i normally handwash with zaino hand wash. have you tried that Collinite SS Silv? how's this finish?

Hey everyone, winter is in full effect here in Anchorage, AK. I was wondering what detail products everyone is using? I prefer stuff I can get in the store, since I get killed with shipping prices to AK. I've used Klasse AIO and their Sealant Glaze, and I don't like the shine it leaves. I also tried REJEX, but since my truck is my DD, I can't really let it sit 12 hours after application. In the fall, I did three coats of Meguiars NXT 2.0. it leaves a good shine, but doesn't last that long. in the winter, I normally just run the truck through the drive thru washes, sometimes i'll handwash it in the garage. When I quick detail I use Mother's detailing spray, or Zaino detail spray. I've used Zymol in my WRX days, and was happy with that stuff, is there any things you guys can recommend? There's a few professional detail stores that I can get stuff from too, besides Schucks or Wal Mart.

i think Gunk has a two-pack engine cleaner that I use all the time. one is for cleaning and the other is a dressing. works good! i'd clean my engine bay, but its no use in the winter.

i liked mine a lot. mine never leaked. I put the motor part on after I had the cutout welded on and it was too low. i bottomed out in a huge dip in the road and damaged the motor. other than that, I really liked the part, it was pretty solid, and reliable. the only bad thing i've heard about it is that the switch burns out. once the holiday are over, i'm planning on getting another one.

i'm thinking mine is on it's way too. something's leaking and i can smell it when the truck is parked. it only smells from the driver's side. kinda smells like gear oil or diff fluid. could a seal be going or anything?

they're getting kinda dull, almost brown looking. i may look into LPP headers.

would those 99-02 ones fit in the SS? i need more light LOL.

damn, i could've saved $600+ dollars by bringin it to the dealership? too late now i guess, i like the added raspiness!! once the rattling got worse on my truck , the check engine light came on. my truck was really down on power. i was wondering about the CEL coming on, and bam, it came on. i crawled under the truck while it was running and listened closely to the pass. cat and i could hear some things rattling in there.

ricers used to mess with me all the time in my WRX STi, now other fools in their half ass SS clones always try to race me. like the guys with the street scene SS styled bumper.

how well will that type of coating hold up in winters ? my edelbrock shorties are starting to change colors and i'm looking to get pacesetters in the spring.

way too short. crazy ass ending though!! and the missions are way harder!! multiplayer is pretty fun. it takes longer to unlock perks and attachments. i love mowing people down with the RPD.
