  1. I have heard of this pill that gets rid of gas.... http://www.beanogas.com/
  2. I believe the current system, we have is wrong. Rewarding people who break the law (crossing the border illegally) with jobs is just unethical. On the other hand, my in-laws in Mexico cannot vist me legally, because they are poor and don't have large fixed assets to assure their return (to the satisfaction of the US Government, anyway). It also creates an under-class of people who are abused in terms of wages and benefits. I have nothing against folks who want to come to the US, work hard and make a better life for themselves, which is what most illegal immigrants want. But too many industries are addicted to the low wages that they can pay illegals and they lobby for the status quo. My solution- First we would have to clean the slate, and offer some sort of amnesty or "work to become a citizen" option for existing illegals. It is only fair to folks who have worked hard at crummy jobs for many years. Enact large penalties to companies that employ illegal immigrants (from any country). You can get rid of the supply by getting rid of the demand. To keep the industries that want the low-wage labor happy, a kind of guest worker program that would allow people to earn citizenship by demonstrating they are hear to work hard for a new life and willing to learn English, have no criminal record, etc. Now it becomes easier to police the border and catch the true criminals sneaking back and forth with drugs and such. I am sure this is not a perfect solution either, but it is a lot better than what we have. I suppose the best solution would be to get the Mexican government to stop ripping off it's own people so much. The corruption there perpetrates poverty that makes risking your life to immigrate to the US look good. As for the walk out today, I think it is bad. It will probably scare a lot of average Joe's and assure a backlash.
  3. What are you going to use it for? Regular Photoshop is expensive. PhotoShop Elements is reasonably priced and does what most people need for home photo touch up and adjusting.
  4. Very cool gadget. I find I keep using it, watching this or that. Well worth the money. Aeroforce
  5. Yeah, get a flouresent red fuzzy dash cover, some chromed wheel well strips, add some curb feelers, and one of those visor things over the windshield. And don't forget some custom airbrush work.

  7. I have a better idea, stop using so much gas I have been working from home the last six months, and it saves a lot of gas money (70 gallons a month).
  8. Why not get one of these: http://www.aeroforcetech.com/ It will tell you your trouble codes, and display various readings of like transmission temp, coolant temp, intake air temp, engine load, air/fuel ratio.... I have one on my truck, and I love it, except for the small text on the description (eyes are getting old )
  9. My driver's side door cladding started to rub on the fender a bit, so I just got some double stick moulding tape at the parts store and got it pulled back in place that way. If you are still under warranty, take it back to the dealer.
  10. I have yet to meet a car salesman that knew what he was talking about.
  11. Got them from a local (real) auto parts store. Just do an Internet search on Edelman 124660 and I am sure you can come up with something as well. I think Summit may even have them.
  12. Since I don't have a themostat controled bypass on the cooler line, I left it running through the radiator. I figured it would warm the transmission fluid in cold weather and still provide a bit of cooling in hot weather. I cut and re-arranged the existing tubing to keep from using rubber hoses. The hardest part was coming up with a way to get from the 1/2 inch NPT pipe thread on the cooler to the 3/8 inverted flare fittings. What was B&M thinking when they chose NTP? Installed my B&M Transmission Cooler

  18. Actually, it is the other way around, black is the best color for radiating (or absorbing) the heat. So as long as the under hood air is cooler than the supercharger, black is best. Think about it, why do the often paint radiators black? That paint job does look very cool!
  19. Man, you guys are not living right. Am I the only one going to make it to my 90's?
