  1. i can try to find out tomorow?.. but it's heavy and large so probably a lot?.. i won't charge anything but the actual shipping charge though. i'll post back tomorow.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> any update on S&H cost? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> sorry i had a busy weekend.. i'll try to get an answer today. thanks. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> if that zip code is in kentucky like it shows up as.. the shipping will be about $65.00 so if you want i can sell it for $160 with shipping, packaging, and time.. all included let me know what you think?... and here is a pic... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Does that include the wiring?
  2. Congrats, I hope you like em So would you reccomend gettin the headers put on by a shop? Let us know how they are <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would do the install again. It's a completely bolt up system so it can be done by people like me who don't have the tools a lot of people have. It was also kind of fun to try a big install like headers. It will be worth it when I get a chance to hear how it sounds.
  3. I would just add a flowpro muffler(dual in/out). Works great for me and the exhaust did get louder. Most of what I have read on this site say you won't gain much from adding a new setup because the stock exhuast is pretty good. I just installed my dynatech headers so I'll let you know what I think when I get a chance to drive the SS again. It should make my flowpro sound even better. Can't wait to fire her up today
  4. I just finished up isntalling my dynatech's last night so I can't wait to get home today and put my truck back together and start her up. Hopefully I won't have any leaks . It was a pain for me doing the install since I did it by myself and I'm no Mister P.
  5. will do <{POST_SNAPBACK}> any update? Did you ever find the wiring harness that goes with the hitch? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> any update?

  7. See if your insurance company will go after him.
  8. Took me a year to decide what I wanted to do. Computers have always been interesting to me so that's what I chose. Still a good field to get into and the pay isn't too bad. I took a crap job my first year out of college(working for state goverment) but it paid off when my salary almost doubled at my next job. State goverment is great for getting extra training and certification. The pay is low but the training they offer makes up for it. My advice to you would be to choose something you like. I'm really happy I love what I do. Money isn't everything when it comes to a job field you could be in for 25 or 35 years.
  9. The TBTC will arrive today and I've already got my Zippy shift kit. I'll be taking the SS to a shop to have the work done so I need some suggestions on what transmission fluid to use. In the post I read some suggest Amsoil ATF. What fluid do you guys reocmmend and how much should I have ready for the install?
  10. I'm usually in Lexington every weekend. My best friend lives up there off Winchester road. I might be making the move within a year. If you spot a blue 2003 SS with chrome SS wheels, billet grill and billet SS bow tie, that's me . I'm usually in the Hamburg area or near Lakeside golf course
  11. I got a swivel head 3/8 adaptor and that did the job. All 6 are off. I'll remove the pipes and headers tomorrow and try to finish up. Do I have to remove the cross member par holding up the trans? I really hate to attempt that. If I do have to remove it or drop one side down, where do I jackup the trans. There really isn't much room behind the trans to put my jack. Any suggestions on where to put my jack to support the trans while I drop one side of the cross member bar? Thanks for the tips so far Chase. The swivel head piece really helped me romove the other 3 bolts.
  12. I'll pick up a set of those. Sounds like that's what I really need. Any other socket parts that will help me get a better angle? Thanks for the tips.
  13. I'll give that a try when I get back. Off to buy more tools . How in the world do I get the pipe clamp off that connects the passenger side exhaust pipe to the pipe running to the muffler? The bolts are turned up so I don't see how I can get a wrench to it. Can it be cut off with a torch? I've seen some small torches at Wal-Mart. Will those get hot enough to cut the clamp?
  14. I've got 2 off the passenger side and 1 off the driver side. I've figured out how to use my arms and legs to put more strength behind my wrench. I guess I'm having trouble getting the right angle. I've broke one 3/8 rachet and two 3 inch extensions so far. There is one on the driver side that seems hard to get to with my extension. The exhaust pipe is in the way. Wish I had some air tools . Is there any certain extension that will work best?
  15. I'm trying to remove my stock headers but I'm having trouble removing the header to exhaust bolts(6 of them). I sprayed the bolts last night with WD40 and I just sprayed them with liquid wrench. Will these things ever break lose and come off? I need some suggestions quick!!
  16. in Jamaica, when I stayed at Couples, I never had to leave the all inclusive resort. they have nightly entertainment, a few resteraunts, snorklinig, scuba diving, sunset cruises, massages, etc., etc. and there are no children and a clothing optional beach. The water is awesome there for snorkling and scuba. Cancun is not my first pick for an all inclusive vacation location, but it is very nice. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good to know ... Thanks... Yeah, I've done Cancun and it was OK. That was back a few years in my single days, But we had a blast. Well we decided on the Sandals Royal Bahamiam. This was mostley in part to travel times. St. Lucia had horendous flights, a few red-eyes along with 6-8 hr. lay-overs. Bahamas is only 2 planes, and about 5.5 hrs. of total travel time. We are going Oct. 5th - 12th. BTW - we booked the Manor Luxury Oceanfront Concierge Room. Should be nice. I will let you all know how good it was. Thanks again for your input. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If your interested in the scuba diving I would ask if you have to be certified? Wife and I was in the Bahamas and that's what they told us. In Florida we didn't have to be certified or anything, just take some training class. Suba diving is a must. So much fun, just make sure your guide knows what they are doing. My guide put a weight belt on me and had me draging the ocean floor
  17. how much for each wheel? Most on here might buy 1 for spare like I was thinking of doing. Go to FedEx and give me a S&H cost to zip 40330. give me price on perfect wheel, damaged/repaired and curb rashed wheel. Thanks, Jeremy
  18. will do <{POST_SNAPBACK}> any update? Did you ever find the wiring harness that goes with the hitch?
