Did the wings fall off the planes that hit the towers? I watched the 2nd plane hit on live tv and don't remember, but I don't remember there being anything left over from those plans. I don't really think the goverment shot the pentegon with a missle.

I say skip the box. For that amount of cash, I don't really need it. I like to buy the good stuff because 99% of the time(you get what you paid for). But on this instance, I'll stick with my MTX 8500 series subs(new off eBay $120 shipped for the pair ) I've had them for a couple years now and they hit plenty hard enough for me. Just my $0.02 worth. To each his own. The box is really nice though

Can tunning my ss using efilive cause my sub amp to blow? I noticed after my last tune, my kenwood amp isn't working anymore. It doesn't turn on or anything.

Tons on eBay: 2003 Blue SS AWD - less than 32K miles 2004 Red SS AWD - Less than 23K miles 2003 Black SS AWD - less than 21K miles Just 3 out of the 14 I found. Lots of deals to be had!!

I think I read a post today about a guy getting one for around $30K new. It just depends on if you want 2WD or AWD. They stopped making the SS AWD in 2006. The 2005 models are either 2WD or AWD and 2003-2004 models are all AWD. I doubt you worry about snow in Houston so I say get a new VHO. They have the same engine and are 2WD. They offer less options but cost a good bit less. Search eBay for a used one. I always see 3 or 4. Or just seach this site. Good luck

Truck looks ok but you're talking about paying close to $50K on a ford . The base NA version only has 325 HP and cost more than a SS. A modded SS will stay with the SC version and still be a better truck. I'd rather drive my SS with a SC than that ford with a SC

Price of oil is up today on supply worries even though inventories rose last week Here's the article link: gas prices suck...but will continue to rise for no real reason I wonder what kind of logic goes into this? The real price of oil doesn't have anything to do with supply and demand anymore. Iran hasn't done anything to the oil they export but just because they don't like us and say bad things, the price of oil continues to rise. I guess fear runs the oil market these days. On a good note-I continue to buy mods so I can go faster and use more gas

I purchased a set of dynatech supermaxx headers from a fellow ss member and some part are missing. I'm missing 4 headers bolts(bolts used to attach header to engine). Can I just used my current header bolts or do the supermaxx headers require their "special" bolt? Same question applies to the header collector nuts. Thanks for any insight you guys can provide.

If you plan to keep using your bose speakers just get a PAC adaptor. It will hook into your bose system and allow you to add the subs. This is what I did. I checked out eBay and got a box to fit my SS($90), two 10" MTX 8500 speakers($120 total shipped-new) and a Kenwood mono amp(can't remember the price). I had to add an amp rack to my sub box but that wasn't too hard. My little system thumps pretty hard and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. I would suggest getting an amp with a bass volumn control so you can adjust that from your seat. I didn't do this and had to come up with my own idea .

Weird to see an SRT-10 guy scared of a SS. If he didn't have a good launch then it would have been a closer race even if you are only stock. It can be hard to launch a 500 HP truck. Are you 2WD or AWD? He should have at least gave you a run no matter what's under the hood. don't those SRT-10's run mid to high 13's?
