  1. I would take it back to the dealer and complain. If they messed it up make them pay for it.
  2. all are without but I can get a quote... and we can work from there <{POST_SNAPBACK}> give me a S&H quote for the hitch shipped to 40330. thanks, Jeremy
  3. send pics to [email protected] if you don't mind. I'm interested in them.
  4. Sweet. Now go buy a new SS. $750K is nice but don't blow it. Like all said be smart. I bet you wish you were the only winner of that big @ss 208 million jackpot. At least you can "yeah I won the lottery/powerball". I forgot to play again so I'll have to wait till it gets big again.
  5. I would go lighter if I wanted to upgrade my rims unless your trying to achieve a look like me. My 03 SS didn't come with the chrome SS wheels so I bought a set off a member and sold my silver SS rims. I shipped mine FedEx ground for around $125 and they ship to any street address. I'll check and see if they have the GMC logo. I don't think they have any logo, but I'll check.
  6. Looking for a new TBTC if anyone has one to sell? I'm looking to add a TBTC to my SS same time I get the shift kit installed so let me know if you've got one. Thanks, Jeremy
  7. My buddy has those wheels on him GMC. I'll see if he wants to get rid of them and get something else. He keeps his truck clean and barley puts any miles on it. The wheels are mint. how much are you looking to spend? PM me prices. S&H would probably be around $125.
  8. Good deal. I was a little worried because the price was way below the other quotes. How long should the work take a good trans shop?
  9. Here are the quotes I got so far: SHOP 1 Trailblazer Torque Converter/Shift kit Install Price - $701.78 Labor Warranty: 60 days Parts Warranty if they order: 6 months 6,000 miles. Install Time: 2 days/1 day SHOP 2 Trailblazer Torque Converter/Shift kit Install Price - $300 Labor Warranty: 12 months Parts Warranty if they order: Install Time: 1-2 days SHOP 3 Trailblazer Torque Converter/Shift kit Install Price - $500 Labor Warranty: 3 months Parts Warranty if they order: Install Time: 1-2 days Between $300-$500 sounds a lot better. The first $700 quote is from a chain type transmission shop in KY. They got a few locations. The $300 quote sounds to good to be true.
  10. called another shop and got quoted $300 for shift kit and TC install if I have the parts. They also offer a 12 month warranty on their work. I'll have to get more info on the shop but that sounds like a way better option with a better warranty. Other shop just offers 60 day warranty on their labor. $300 sounds pretty low to me. What do you guys think?
  11. I called a local shop called Kentucky Transmission and to install my zippy shift kit and a torque converter they said it would cost $701.78. Is this a high, low or about right? I was thinking they would probably charge me around $700 for the work. They say isntall time is around 7 hours so if I schedule a time to come in they can get it done in a day. I wanted to do the shift kit install but too many people like me(no experience) are having problems after they make install errors so I don't want to risk it. Plus the new baby isn't giving me any free time to do the install. Let me know what you guys think?
  12. Seems like a pretty good deal and seller has 100% feedback. Price at $695+ $90 S&H. Link: eBay SS Chrome
  13. I don't think that bench seat is big enough! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> At her size I think you would have to call it a bitch seat lol
  14. Yeah, I'll snap some pics. i had pics but deleted them a week or so ago. I purchased the parts from gmparts direct and it cost me around $50 or $60 for the braces. There are 2 sets of braces that attach the bumper to the rear end. I purchased both because I didn't know what to get. All together I spent a little over a $100 for the parts.
  15. pretty neat game. Took a little while but I got it figured out. Web browser went crazy on my twice so i had to go through the steps again. Last number was fun to "put together".
  16. I went throught the same type of thing awhile back. I thought the same thing you did that the braces were bent. So I ordered the new braces and compared them and they were the same. All I had to do was lossen the braces and adjust the bumper. When I backed into the concrete base of a light pole the bumper just got pushed down. Lucky for me the braces for the bumper slid instead of bend. I can't give you any advice on the bed. Hope this help.
  17. sleep is an adjustment for sure. Little Abby just woke up and look slike she will be up for awhile. Got to feel bad for the wife lol . She's taking off work for 12 weeks so she'll be fine. I've got to get some sleep. Got to go to work tomorrow
  18. SoCalSS, please post the steps to do this. I would like to password protect/encrypt my wireless router.
  19. congrats. Just had my first on July 16. Sleep is hard to come by some nights.
  20. Well my first child was born July 16 at 6:35 AM and I'm just now getting to post it. It's been a tought first week getting things done and getting some sleep. I took off last week to help the wife and spend time with the baby. I got the wife to the hospital around 3:30 AM Saturday morning and she delivered our baby girl at 6:35 AM Sunday morning. She weighed in at 7 lbs and 20 inches long with a head full of hair. I'll post a couple pics when I get home(just got the pics off the digital camera last night). The wife and I are really happy and both the wife and baby Abby are doing great. We decided to name her Abigail Marie. She came a few days early so we were surprized. Hospital Pic:
  21. Not sure what your options are. Once you sign-off on the work I gues it's pretty much your word against theirs. Also I'm not sure they are liable because it was sitting on their lot. Can someone ring in on this?
  22. the progrmmer is a superchips that comes with it <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Did you set the truck back to stock using the superchips? If not then I think you have to send it back and they charge a fee to do it or something like that. So the duct running from the airbox to the SC isn't included?
