Haven't seen her on here for a while. I do hope Kim is ok, too. There was WickedSS, truck stolen. Chevygal posts some, AndromedaSS, that's all I can think of right now.

Uh.... what? My wife and I text. Usually short messages while we're at work. "Call when you can" stuff like that. Now, her and her friend will have entire conversations through text. I'm like, why don't you just call each other.

Request - Detailing Advice Pm's

Gotcha. -
Must be something to do with the points system that some states have. I know this sucks, and it seems that every time you get ahead something knocks you back. Been there done that, and doing it again. But just keep plugging at it, and it will get better.

I'm definitely going to when I get to that point. -
There's a cover over the blower motor/evap case area under the dash that you'll have to remove. 3 or 4 screws. Once you get it off you'll see where it is.

An early HEMI. Definitely a Chrysler.

We need a drooling smilie. M thoaming a th mouse (wipe), sorry, just looking at that stuff. -
If your thruck is equiped with a full console then it is a carbon filter that is non servicable. (RPO D07) Most SS trucks will have a full console.

Except for the sme stuff at chain stores. There is a difference in pad material between factory and your Midas's and Just Brakes. I've sold pads to these kinds of places when I did aftermarket parts, and they want the cheapest crap they can get their hands on.

It's a filter for the A/C heater system where the air comes into the cab. Depending on how the truck is equiped, meaning whether or not it's replacable, it's below the glove box.

They shouldn't be bolted on, but make sure the little retainers around the lug nuts are not there. There should be 2. If no fastener are present, then it's rusted on to the hub. You can use the hammer to hit it on the hub area between the studs, but it probably too much for that. The other trick is to use a torch (not to cut it off ) to heat up the hub areaso that it will expand faster than the hub, thus breaking the rust bond. You can apply some grease between the two surfaces to keep this from happening again.

Don't have a camera here, but I'm sure most of you know what a dealership front parts counter look like. -
Some sweet rides. That would be a fun detail.

I got away with it on my last truck for like 3-4 years, and a T/A for 2, but my truck already had it on there.

I wish we didn't have to have one in TX. I'm interested in how you did that.
