  1. Looks great SSGT. I'm rethinking my decision not to go too low with this truck. A torch is not the only way to go..... 15 minutes huh, I'll race you with lil mule
  2. That thing has been sitting for years that close to a public road??? someone would have flatbeded that bad boy a long time ago around here............ may have been me, lol.
  3. Don't change a damn thing... well maybe color match the door handles.... but it's the best lookin Colorado I've seen. Congrats
  4. It's behind the opening in the bumper of the JG and SS trucks. Maggie should make it a standard with the kit.
  5. Buy this TVS1900 and L92 heads for about the same coin and have the latest and greatest technology IMO. http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.ph...mp;#entry629098 You will love the blower, had a 112HH on the last truck, saw city mileage unchanged and hwy milege increse by 2mpg. had a LQ4, longtubes, no cats, 4L80, 2.8" pulley (11 lbs) all supporting mods. I miss it enough that I have a tvs1900 sitting in the garage awaiting the delivery of my new tune so I can instal it on the SS.
  6. There's a round flat spot on the firewall kind of behind the drivers side head. The fireblanket on the firewall and he plastic under the dash is already cutout for this spot and makes for a great place to cut a hole for a gromet.
  7. Well, It is on an ignition activated switch so when I turn the key on, the pump runs for a couple seconds and the gauge sits on about 64lbs. Then I crank it and it bumps up to 66-67lbs. Then acts as I said in my previous post.
  8. Just installed my Prosport Fuel pressure gauge and It's showing 66psi at idle and cruise, WOT at the top of 2nd (5800rpm) it drops to 62psi. Only mods are intake exhaust and a tune. Just wanted to get it hooked up to see what the stock pressure looked like before I start the transformation Just seems high to me.
  9. WTF - Don't hold out, I wanna see too, lol........ but I'm serious
  10. The other good thing is that since I'm not rushed, all the hoses and wiring are neat and hidden. On my last install, I was in such a hurry that I had a lot of stuff just roughed in and had to come back and redo a lot of it to get it how I really wanted to do it. Oh, had to go back and black out the H/E... too much attention already
  11. I've been wanting to see a leather wrapped console lid... You have convinced me that I want to do it... Beautiful truck.
  12. Hand calculate the MPG and see how bad off it is for starters
  13. haha, been working so much it's still in the box. How sad is that. I have tinkered around with a few things, got the HE installed, the pump, the resevoir and most of the hoses. Pinned my crank and instaled my boost and FP gauges. Fuel pump and hotwire kit is next. Figured by the time I get a free day, all I'll have to do is drop the blower on, add the new tesioner bracket and tune.
  14. very odd indeed, first muff I've ever heard of like that, should have snapped some pics
  15. Isn't the rear muffler a 2 into 1... that would mean it has a Y in it, not an X.
  16. That's what I was told about my 1900, that they used it to make the B.O.M. for all the kits to follow. What's wrong with the Valley cover they sent? I may need to check mine to see if I have the right one!
  17. Good move, I think you'll be happy with that..... if you want more noise, you can always add some cut outs!
  18. I'd like to see it side by side with my 1900 to see the physical difference in size... Guess I'll be mini me with the little motor and the little blower, haha. I see right off the bat that yours has one more set of ribs front to back than mine.
  19. If you want a bolt in system, I would go with Americ Racing Headers. They've got all the good stuff and are running a sale on them on PT.net right now.
  20. Those are sick, but the HRE website says they are only available in 18, 19, 20 & 21.
  21. They are a Shame... deffinately no Wow! My mom bought them and gave me a couple.... they are fine for cleaning a dipstick and that's about it. Went back to my Absorber....
  22. You know what may look good, is blacking them out and leaving just the leading edge silver. It would be subtle, but still have some contrast. Or maybe paint them a darker silver or gray so they don't stand out ass much, but there is no mistaking it is an SS ya know.
  23. Moregrips setup is exactly what came to mind... of course he's not street proven, haha, but I think you will be happy with that. What's the tailpipe size? That may be the biggest restriction. Looks good to me.
