  1. I have a laser, makes it tons easier to put up the channel. You don't have to run around the room with a level.
  2. HID's 6000k. High and Low. Thanks Chris!!! Suede headliner And finally my favorite of them all. New Head unit. Kenwood DNX5120. It's everything I expected it to be and more. I'm glad I waited for it. It was worth every penny. It was a busy weekend... thanks for everyone who came out.
  3. Yeah- I told Chris I have to make it to one of these Iowa GTG I always hear about.
  4. I have a lift. Don't kill yourself.
  5. TTT Still for sale- Ebay in a few days.
  6. WHO MISSES BONJI? It was a good time. I have some better pics of all the stuff we did. As soon as I get home I'll post them. It was a blast. Bonj- I LOVE the pic of the mini blinds. Of all the things Fast4popper did this weekend- customizing my mini blinds was at the top of his list. Still have suede left for anyone who's interested. Chris is sending me more paint tomorrow. Thanks for everyone coming out- you missed a great time Sat. night! The basement is a possibility- It better be soon though- I'm gonna get REALLY busy soon. THESE ARE MY PEOPLE
  7. Chris- I HATE YOU. You didn't even give me a chance to put my rims on before this pic. I see how it is. just wait for the pics I post tomorow!
  8. He's gonna come out by me first. I'll come down tomorrow- it just depends on how late were up here.
  9. It's a custom made housing. You take out the tray piece with the lighters and then this one is caulked in. Joe made it for me. I'll bring it along. 24 hours!!!
  10. Yeah- it's kinda deep. I couldn't fit it anywhere else. There's solid support under the seats, so I put a 1/4 inch piece of plywood that spaces between the metal bars. It's nice because it's easy access from all seats in the truck and it was simple to do
  11. Not at all, however, you wouldn't need the Aux input or the DVD player. I'm not really interested in parting it out. Let me know
  12. I might install the new head unit tomorrow. If I do I'll prolly take everything out. I might head down your way tomorrow night with chris. I'll either still have it hooked up- or I'll make sure I bring it.
  13. I've never had an experience like THAT. I've also never been to a jiffy lube. There is a place in town we used to take the duramax trucks to get the oil changed. (10 qts of oil and a filter isnt worth doing yourself for the money) We left the place, went to do an estimate- only to find that when we got back to the truck there was a puddle underneath. They didn't tighten the drain plug with a wrench- it was just finger tight. What REALLY pissed me off, was: 1. having to climb under a 2005 truck in front of the customers house. 2. after checking the oil level, found that it was only a tiny bit under the fill level! Places like that suck. I've always changed my own oil in the SS. I'm thankful for that. There are definitely some crooks out there.
  14. Thanks man. I still have all the boxes and parts for everything. It's a super easy install. Should be a good deal for someone.
  15. I have an idea- buy my dvd player and screen!
  16. Just as the title says- Thinking about selling the setup I have now. I've always liked the stock look with the factory radio, so adding the screen in the center console was perfect solution. I recently found a new head unit so I'm thinking of selling the stuff I have now. Here are some pics: I'd like to get around $500 for everything. This includes the Monitor (Alpine TME-M710, $320) The custom made housing- 6.0ss made it for me- I don't remember what I paid... it was atleast $100 Remote mount dvd player (Kenwood KD-VS210P, $199) All the inputs to play sound through the factory radio which include: (PXGM24 which creates 2 aux inputs for the factory radio, $200) (PLD10 RCA signal level booster which matches the volume of the dvd player to other radio sources, $40 each. This keeps you from switching from the dvd to XM and blowing your ears apart. I have two, one for the DVD, the other is for my ipod. (PTR7 which tricks the monitor into thinking the truck is in park. The screen will work while driving. ($50) I think that about sums it up. Let me know if anyone is interested. It all adds up to about $950 worth of stuff.
  17. Yeah- copper was crazy for a while. My dad is a contractor- We've never had anyone break into any of the houses... but I have heard of that happening to people around here. It's sad. Diesel is 4.11 a gallon by me. Kinda making it hard to run a business!!!!!
  18. Damn, and I thought I was the only one who saw that movie back in the day. HAHAHAHAHA
  19. PM Fast4Popper- he might have some pics of his setup. His are hooked up to his alarm. He can open the cover with the remote. Maybe he will chime in.
  20. Nice! All these old High School stories got me thinking about the good ol days. HAHA.
  21. Hes adorable. My brother and his wife just had a boy in December. I can't wait to have kids myself.
  22. Well- here it goes. In High School I always used to call this girl chicken legs... mainly because she was toothpick skinny and she had CHICKEN LEGS. I'm not the skinniest guy on the planet- so she always called me Doughboy. So ThePDB stands for The Pillsbury Dough Boy. It's been around ever since.
