I got my Fastback II about 8 months ago... I found it at www.truckaddons.com. I didn't go through the whole check out process just now... but it does look like they still have it. I think it's the same price I got it for too. If you have a business you can ship it to it'll save you TONS in shipping. They also have the bedrug the cheapest I've seen online for anyone looking.

I know this post is a month old. I have aux inputs from PAC that are wired directly to the factory radio with a T harness and there is an RAP wire you can use. I use it for the Alpine monitor in my center console that I watch DVD's on. It shuts off the same time everything else does. The input also has 2 other power wires, you need relays for them though. If your interested in this input- talk to Fast4Popper... that's where I got mine. It's been so long I don't remember how much I paid. Hope that helps.

You dont like the barb wire? You'd have to see it up close. Almost EVERYONE that said they hated it on here actually changed their mind in person. No pic has ever done it justice. I actually bought the truck with 900 miles on it from a friend of the family. He puts the barb wire on EVERY truck he buys. It wouldn't have been my first choice- but everytime I get ready to take it off I end up changing my mind. Here are some pics of the truck after DER and a somewhat better pic of the barb wire.

Here is a pic of my hard cover. It's fiberglass. Doesn't weight much at all... I think the cost was around 700. It's the Fastback II. (www.truckaddons.com had it the cheapest) The other pic is the underside of the cover.

I know I got in on this thread kinda late... I'm glad it came up though. I still have a year or so on my warranty, but I have been thinking about extending it. My brother put one on his 99 silverado from GM back in the day and it was worth every penny.

Hey now, there's nothing wrong with a Duramax! I used to be skeptical too... I love our Duramax trucks. I do know what you mean though about not getting rid of the SS. Why not just have both? I have 3 Duramax trucks now including the SS... it's only payments right??? haha. Before anyone even asks me why I have that many trucks, for those that don't know, I own a lawncare and landscaping business. I haven't towed much with the SS, mainly because I have the diesels, but 10-12k seems like a lot.

Sounds good- maybe if I cook too we can find some time to wash and wax my truck again.
