  1. haha, yeah- that's definitely a keeper.
  2. That seems like a good price for anyone who wants front projection. I have an optima HD70. It's only 720p but I have no complaints. Video games are insane. What size are you running? From the pic it looked huge. I have 110" in my main room, and 106" at the lake house.
  3. All this talk makes me wanna watch it now.
  4. I have one myself. What are you selling?
  5. That's definitely another solution!
  6. Depending on how many outlets you already have in the room, one thing you could do (if the new outlet/plate is directly above the existing outlet is going to be would be cut the whole for your new outlet, run 12-2 wire from the new hole to the existing outlet box below. Most outlets have push in connectors on the back where you could easily get power to the new outlet from. Another option would be unwiring the outlet, wire nutting all the wires together in the box with jumper wires, and reconnect the existing outlet to the jumper wires. That probably didn't make a whole lot of sense. It's hard to explain because I know what I mean so I might not be explaining it enough
  7. Yeah, I agree. I thought it would be cool if they used a new camaro.
  8. I have it on TIVO... I'm about to fire it up now. Is it worth watching?
  9. You could always load it up with some shingles too. that would lower the rear end again too. HAHA
  10. Wanna know the sad thing? I actually put this room in my family's lake house. So I only get to enjoy it like once or twice a month! I take the projector with me back and forth though.
  11. Yeah, my next room will be bigger. This room was only 13x16. I'll definitely have atleast 2 rows of seating. Another thing that I hate about the room is only having room for 3 recliners. Somebody always gets the shaft.
  12. I love it. It looks awesome I learned something from my theater room that I'll change in the future... Definitely need to go with a dark paint color. The lighter color I have really absorbs the light. I have accent lights over each poster that light up... but theres never been a point in having them on because the room is so bright. The fiance and I are getting ready to start building our house. The new theater room will have darker walls!
  13. I'm not sure if this is what your asking but most tv mounts will leave you enough room to plug in the tv to an outlet and your av sources. If your talking about hiding the cable from the source to the tv... What's the floor like under the room this tv is in? What about above? You might be able to run the cable up from the floor below inside the 2x4 wall cavity, or the same way from above. Any one else have any easier ideas or options? You could put a cut in box below the tv by the floor and then another behind where the tv will sit and run the av wires through each plate (which would hide it from the floor to the tv. Hope that helps
  14. Umm, I'm gonna have to start playing online...actually, I'm gonna have to start playing period! I don't game that much. It's strange, a buddy of mine was just telling me how to set up the ps3 for online. I already have cat5 there for the tivo so really it shouldn't be that hard. I'm warning everyone now though- I suck at games. I love the Samsung tv. I was disappointed when I first got it... but after seeing it with the Blu Ray player and HD DVD I wouldn't trade it for anything. Playing on the 110" projector is insane!!!
  15. At the time I took these pics I was using a Samsung 50" dlp rear proj. Now, I'm using a projector with a 106" screen.
  16. Like I already told you... you can do mine next. OH WAIT, I still have crappy stock brakes :banghead:
  17. Thanks guys... I was worried posting them... I thought I'd get all kinds of comments. I mean, it's nothing special.
  18. 99% of them came from ebay. You can find anything on there!!!
  19. Thanks. I gotta change them up. It was hard picking which ones.
  20. Saytagf got me in the mood to dig out some pics so I thought I'd post some pics of my first theater room. I have tons of pics throughout the whole process. Let me know what you think. I finally finished making and hanging the projector screen. I don't have any pics yet though. Screens are boring to look at anyways unless theres something good on. The pics are horrible. You can barely see the arches and details. Also, behind the sofa is 2 twin mattresses built in a raised platform.
  21. Well, I don't have a tv ON the wall, I did build mine in the wall. I pounded nails for 10 years before I started my landscaping business. If your somewhat handy you can add an additional outlet behind the tv. I wouldn't run the power wire from the tv through the wall. As for where to put the cable box... that's always a tough call. If you have long enough cables you can set them anywhere. Fishing the wires through walls can be a PITA. I've had all kinds of fun fishing wires. I recently added a projector to my tv room so anything is possible. I'll have to take a pic of my current set up. I'll add that in a few minutes. Hope that helps. Chad
  22. I'm about an hour west of Chicago.
  23. Nice choice!!! I have a couple of the 2500HD duramax trucks... I love them. Also have a C4500 with the duramax. I still prefer driving the SS though.
