SD tune still uses the IAT sensor in the MAF(if the maf has been removed an aftermarket IAT needs to be installed in the iar intake) and has tables to adjust for air temp(maybe reynaldo can confirm). My truck has no problem running at 90 degrees or 40 degrees with an SD tune and open loop only.

My track is around 600-700 feet above sea level but sees -1000-1500 during the late season racing, but then traction is huge issue for me.
