  1. I am getting ready to buy a 90mm TB and x link and just wanted to know what the main difference was between the LS7 and LS2 Throttle bodys.
  2. I don't think so, but I honestly don't know when comparing caliper to caliper.
  3. The lower price is $675 plus shipping I just fixed the orginal post. Everything pictured is what they come with. I know they bolt up to an 03+ but not sure about your situation with an 02, you might want to dig a little deeper on that. According to Styling Trucks they should be a direct fit.
  4. I'm jumping in on this one before it gets shut down. First off nice truck man Next, everyone needs to check their damn internet tough guy act...NOW This guy came here looking for somewhere to hang out with other truck performance, gear minded guys. He has a TRUCK that runs in the 11's. With his mods could it be faster? Absolutely! But the fact that he is running 22 inch god dam wheels should tell you he is also looking for a stylish vehicle as well, not trying to break world records. In my book any TRUCK that runs in the 11's is f'ing sweet. We are talking ZR-1 times here people. He was jumped the last thread by people on this site. He didn't ask for advise or input, it was given. When he gave some back everyone jumped on his ass. Lay off!!!!
  5. Unfortunatly I am still running the 65. It is built but you know how that goes, even a built 65 has it's limits when pushing 5500lbs to 60 in just seconds. I am going to have to take it real easy on the trans until I get the 80 in there. I might just see the limits of the 65 though, and push it. I am still in Michigan, my girl and I moved to Grand Blanc, so I spend most my time cruising flint. If you went to Woodward this year you might want to check out Back to the Bricks in Flint next year. It's like woodward only smaller and with out all the cops. People were lining up all over the place and pulling hole shots, even the cops that were there were being cool.
  6. Thanks for all the compliments guys The orginal set up was gearer for a NA engine so my compression ratio was around 11:1...my logic was thinking I would never need anything more than a stroker...that lasted 3 months I believe we ended up with about 9:1 compompression. Running the LS2 we really don't want to push the limits of the aluminum block but I'm sure we will get some good numbers. Boost level should be around 8+ lbs. Pushing just 2 lbs of boost with the orginal comprerssion ratio we dynoed 460+ AWHP. The torque curve on this thing even at only 2 lbs of boost was insane.
  7. I installed the 2300 on my 402 eariler this summer but only had it on the road for 3 short weeks. With the 402 running such high compression the boost was lacking to say the least, but this thing still pulled...hard! Well I took it right back to the shop for new forged piston and thought, what the hay, since it's torn apart why not customize the block a little. Here are the pictures of the engine and a few of the brakes. We painted the block and misc. parts Atomic Orange same color as the Corvette. I also decided to put yellow Baers on the truck to be different. I love them. With the entire truck blacked out it really makes them stand out. Yellow Baers front: Rear Alumasport powdercoated to match fronts:
  8. I love the wheels. What are the specs on them? Did you lower it at all or does it just look that way because of the size of the wheels? Is it a 2 SS package with blacked out badges? Where did you get the badges? Sorry about all the qauestions, my Dad bought a 10 Maro and I'm trying to help him mod it. BTW He loves yours. Very nice man
  9. 5/6. People it's not where the cars are made, its where the money goes after that. When GM builds a car/ truck in Mexico they pay the laborors and the rest of the profit (that's huge) money goes back into GM, an American company. When Honda/ Nissian / Toyota...ect build a car/ truck here they pay the laborors and the rest of the profit (that's huge) goes back overseas...
  10. Truck looks great man Love how you put your custom touches on the engine bay
  11. Detroit...however after the way they played in the Stanley last year I doubt very highly they will get far. I am going to have to say Chicago will be a force for sure.
  12. First thing, get rid of the boxed meals and slim fast. I seriously feel bad for people trying to lose weight and rely on magizine and ads for support. Best thing I can tell you is get enough sleep, when you wake up first thing drink water...no exception. Make time for breakfast. Something like omlets with any lean meat and lots of veggies, eggs (hardboiled best, ditch the yoke.) See thats the part no one tells you, losing weight is mainly proper preperation. Even Sunday night hard boil a few dozen eggs for the week ahead. Sunday afternoon go grocery shopping. Buy things like a rotisserie chicken. Eat 6-8 oz for dinner then save the rest and make for meals though out the week. Stick to the outside of the grocery store, the inside isles are where you will get into trouble. Lean meat, veggies, and fruit!!! No boxed meals. If you plan correct it will take the same amount of time to cook/ warm up dinner as a boxed lean cusine. Buy a protein supplement. Try Beverly Inernational. All their supplements are no joke and promise you nothing that they will not back up. Eat more small well balanced meals throughtout the day. PM me if you need help setting up a workout plan or nutrition guide.
  13. I think that's part of the problem, there are already too many "in the way people" now. Just imagine what would happen if know one died. Over population would drive us to unimaginable things. Not enough food, water, even space. If we can't get along with 6.5 billion people on earth now how the hell would we do it with over double that...People would kill each other just for fun because human life would count for nothing at those numbers.
  14. In truth the guys probably just mad that he keeps getting stuck by all the red lights when he has to get home to drop a deuce. Racing you was only pissing him off more.
  15. I know when everything settles down with the purchase of the house I am going to get some things done and I will be glad to pay full price for your work...
  16. I'm going down tonight at about 7. Just a heads up guys
  17. I have been going down a couple times a week. Weekends have been crazy for weeks now. Other night I watched a Ford GT try to play with a ZR1. Silly fool.
  18. Front inlet/Front drive...Nose version
  19. Did you do this with your blower on?
  20. Possibly, assuming my truck is done. I'll let you know.
  21. Dylan, I agree 100%. People blaming our administration for the UAW's bad business ethics simply astounds me. There were so many other people involved that MADE this happen before Obama was even done with grammer school. Hell he was still sipping cool-aid trough a sippy cup. Regardless who you voted for, people's idea of business ethics and standards should remain the same. To bend the accountability of corps. just to make an argument stick only makes people seem bitter and uneducated on the very topic they are trying to convey.
  22. That has always been a soft spot for me. You need a license to drive, a license to hunt, fish, carry a gun, hell you need a permit to burn leaves in your backyard...yet anyone with a working meat stick and some strong swimmers (in some cases it doesn't have to work thanks to our medical establishment... wtf) can make a baby. So after the baby is made who the hell is going to PARENT the dam thing? People think having kids is a god given right...I believe it's a responsibility just like anything else...it's not a right. Some...wait, most of the people I have met should not breed yet they keep poping out litters of children. It's offical...I hate people
