Hey guys, This is a feeler thread for my used Alumsport PBR baer brakes. They have 10000-12000 miles on them and still work perfect. Very few rock chips. Only reason for sale is had to upgrade to Extreme plus 6 piston kit. $675 plus shipping

I have never seen the 1900 in person but I can tell you the rotors on this thing are insane. Should suck a ton of air. The guys at the shop were joking that between the weight of my new brake setup and the weight of the supercharger I am going to come out dead even to where I was before. They were of course joking but still... I am assuming. I was told my unit will be the one that they model the kit after. Assuming we bolt this thing on without any hicups or suprises it should be very soon. I do know they sent the wrong valley cover but that is already being corrected. Hey guys, my 2300 maggie finally arrived. I had to take some pictures of it off the truck. My truck has been in the shop getting totally overhauled since last summer. I have touched every square inch of this thing. I will post pictures of the entire project after I get the truck back and everything is done. Should be very soon. Here are a few. I can't believe how big this thing is.

How long ago did you place the order. My old man ordered one a month ago and the expected delivery date isn't until November. JUst wondering if yours came in before expected.

Yes, that is exactly what I am saying. If those select group of people aren't willing to subject their bodies to the potental harm they may face move on to the next person. After all we are talking about the BEST players here right. If that means the best players need growth hormones to compete then so be it. If you don't want to take them train harder, know one is saying you HAVE to take them, but if it makes the game more fun to watch and more competative then why the hell not. Sports are meant to be entertaining, if thats what they get paid millions to do then they know the road they are putting themselves down ahead of time. That's another thing no one talks about. Taking Roids or HGH or anything else guarantees you nothing. You still have to train, work hard and put in the time just like everyone else. If I gave roids to someone who sat on the couch it doesn't make him into a superpowered pro athlete...it makes him into a slob with man tits and tiny balls. Last year I was invited to watch the Detroit Demolition play (Womens Pro football) After the game I was asked how I liked it...being the ass I am I told the truth and said it was "ok, but I don't like watching team that is considered a 'Pro' team that I felt I could have played in and done better." I feel the same way about mens sports. If I am going to take the time and pay money to watch a "Pro" sports team I want them to be a bunch of freak shows doing unbelievable things. I want to be entertained...yeah I guess I want the 500ft homer...I want the hat trick, I want buzzer beater...I want people willing ot take it to the next level.

To me this is simple. Professional sports are meant to be entertainment. If taking roids means the games will be more entertaining (IE: more competative, more goals, more home runs, more points) than by all means shoot up, take roids...Personally I could care less. If players need an edge to perform better for our entertainment then in the end we are only getting more for our money. And as for role models...BS. These are the same people that have VIP room in strip clubs, that cheat on their wifes with fluffers and crack whores, that take mass amounts of illegal drugs, that carry conceiled weapons without proper permits, that beat their wifes, that can't speak proper english because the hardly got their GED, that bitches about their salary of 20 Million, that don't vote or have any idea who is running for office. Sweet role models, yet you're worried roids will comproimise their image? WOW I say let them do whatever they need to do to perform to the best of their ability, if that means taking performance enhancing drugs so be it...I could care less about them or what it does to their bodies, they are here for my entertainment and are paid extremely well for it to. I sort of have a gladiator mentality about this...love it or hate it. These people are expendable and if you can't keep the edge and stay with the rest of the pack then you're out. Like race horses. It's a competative market...and with salaries like these people get, they need to be as competative as they can possible be.

Question, My Daily driver (an 07 1500 4x4 Silverado ext cab, w/t trim) is in the shop as we speak needing new calipers. The shop said the front calipers are about to seize onto the rotors...the reason is unexplained. I don't ride my brakes, and do 90% highway driving. What I need to know is are my calipers off the stock 05 SS AWD the same as the calipers off an 07 1500 Silverado? I have all aftermarket brakes on the SS so the stock calipers are just chilling out in my garage. Can I use them and save some $$$?

That Volant tube is absolutely beuatiful You should take orders and start doing custom stuff (maybe you do already??), I know I would be first in line for one of those volant tubes.

I understand what you are saying, and trust me I wouldn't do it. I just like seeing people get all tight assed when stuff like this happens but laugh when we put a big block in a civic. People's inability to view their own double standards amuses me. I like it when people do things different from the rest of the sheep in line, but again I wouldn't do it. Bottom line IMO...I could care less if there were already 100 trucks there...if it was my wife or kid burning in the back seat I would want EVERY/ ANY one who could help. I am assuming you are asking about my SS. The wheels are 22's XR-14 Symbolic Custom Powdercoated, tires 305/40/22 Nitto 420's. I have had them for a few years I think I am ready for a change. Not sure to what though. Thanks man. As I said, I am curretly getting tons of work done, I think you guys will like it when it is done.

Yeah that is also the way I understood it. There have been kits before mine that have been pieced together (with fantastic results) but they are just using mine as the "model" for the production units. I feel lucky and at the same time I just want the kit to ship already. I know the engineers at Magnacharger are taking their time to work out all the bugs to release the kit unit and with the weather breaking I am going crazy.

I was also thinking about doing this but my insurance company (AAA) told me if my engine was "heavily" modded they could possible drop me. I had the same problems when trying to get motorcycle insurance. Back when I had my modded R6 AAA wouldn't insure it claiming it was a race bike But they would insure a cruiser or Harley no prob. Insurance companys are really wierd like that. I do know keeping reciepts for everything is key. If they do cover all your mods your payment will likely go through the roof since you probably at least doubled the stated value of the vehicle with all your mods...and with all the grey area you were talking about earlier I would make sure.
