  1. To clear up any misconceptions.. Chase ect.. the altitude at LVMS is a good 1000 plus over La as far as the DA went on that night we were up around 3200ft by my calcs.. and 91 octane doesn't cut the mustard in a stock lq9 with temps and DA like that. SO by kicking up the fuel a notch it helped the ability to run 2 degrees more timing. The truck had no KR at all on any passes I still have the logs. And yes it felt and performed better. When I go to the track I plan on forcefeeding my VHO timing untill it pings on e85
  2. I will be at Hard rock Saturday night. Zane you and Josh hit me up. You can swing by the house or whatnot. I am going to only be able to get down to sema one day.. but I will be around just about any evening. If anyone needs my number drop me a PM
  3. I wish I could have kept my procharger setup. I had to move on to other things since I moved out here. But I am so glad to see these trucks coming about and killing the roots blowers. The power is there. Definitely impressive.
  4. I was wondering on a long shot if you still have the manual climate controls and the other thing I need is the little "cup" ashtray and the little rubber boot it sits in. When my truck got broken into they took it cause it was full of change.
  5. My truck got broken into in my own driveway.. they got my navi my ipod and my alarm was set.. they can get around everything.. the worst part is right now everyone is hurting in the wallet.. so people have resorted to the wrong way to get money. Needless to say I think I have a great alarm. It's a prestige I think. Fast4popper did it. It was not the alarm it was the skill of the guy who got in. I found out they used an airbag to pop the door then cut the wires and silenced the speaker. Just a word of advice no matter how good the alarm is try and know where your truck is and the surroundings. I am now planning to only keep my VHO in the garage when I am not driving it. The insurance won't cover much of anything due to they are aftermarket parts. Something to keep in mind be sure your insurance will cover what you have. Best of luck!
  6. I know I am sorry I didn't call I ended up only at my dad's for one day. I had alot of running to do. It's a really long story. I blew alot of tires and broke 2 trans lines on my roadtrip. It was a mess. This morning someone broke into the VHO infront of my house and raped the entire system out of it and trashed the dash on it's way out. So the last 3 weeks for me have been shitty.
  7. I am so glad to see this truck running so strong. I still remember freezing my ass off working on it.. haha. I promise next time I am back home Brad I want to get to the track with you with yours and mine. New stickers are on the way I ended up going with a place out of norcal to do them.
  8. Irregardless.. of the defending of the 80k sports car..um.. you got pwned by a van...HARD I am quite sure he is hoping no one took video of his loss.. My opinion is if you own a car like that you best know how to drive it. No matter what anyone says what the Zr1 will do.. it didn't do it. The Van is moving out great and is just amazing considering the weight and it's basically like throwing a box at a fan... it's not intended to be wind friendly... hah Great work Jon
  9. I plan on being back in IL week of sept 21-24 with the VHO so I am going to see if there is test and tune that wed. If I can fit my drag radials in the truck to bring em back I will. I will only be able to run on HP I don't plan on spraying anytime soon but if I can make it happen I will.
  10. Incidentally it's now a burnout MACHINE hah
  11. haha I have no plans on painting my bumper It looks good chrome.. and the amount of highway driving I do.. the bugs love the chrome
  12. It's funny you say that there is a rather burly looking carpenter lady that drives a 2500 dodge diesel here at the job site I am working at now we often joke that she eats her mates.. haha
  13. Sucks to hear about. But with the economy going to shit It's going to be more of a problem for everyone to come. Hence why I live in Nevada now.. and carry multiple firearms.. you get near my ride I am going to blow off a limb.. haha
  14. Hate to burst everyone's bubble but the day he shaved the door handles he made it illegal for him to race the truck on any track in the US no one will let you run without door handles even for fun... if you crash they have no way to get you out.
  15. he does but I think since he isn't a sponsor that's why he isn't plugging it. Pm him
  16. The modification you have to do is just to use the intake with a 90mm tb and the adapter harness. DetJoe did an excellent write up on a swap he did. Check out his posts it's an excellent swap to do. No machine work has to be done if that's what your asking.
  17. A 3.1 pulley will get you about 16-17 psi on a p1sc they do like the RPM for sure. You will get a whole lot more out of the blower at that speed. My question for you is do you have the supporting modifications to support it. Tuning Fuel injectors pump ect. I would say if you are going to jump down that far you best know what your in for. A shorter belt would also be a recommendation to take up the slack. I have a 3.1 and I belive a 3.6 laying around at the shop I can check later today if you are interested.
