  1. Look under the hood do you have the vauccum assist canaster next to the master cylnder it's about 9 inches long 2 inches around has an electrical connection to it? That could be some of the issue I know those had issues in the past. As for locking the brakes I am not entirely sure what you are reffering to. The truck's don't have conventional brakes they have ABS so you will not be able to lock them up as you would with an old car that does not have ABS I hope that's not what you mean though.
  2. I am going to let my dad know. More miles than what he would usually look for but it looks really nice
  3. As much as I disagree with you I agree with you on some but def not all. There is alot to be had here there are alot of memebers that will help out and there are alot of good guys here. Like I said I agree and disagree. It's a shame to see you want to roll out but after a childish reply I saw yesterday from you I don't think it's that big of a deal. There is a point where everyone has to remember that this site was started for the trucks and when the sss' first was breaking the market and people were starting to mod. This WAS the place to be. I made alot of good friends here met alot of good guys. You gotta give and take with everything in life. Mod's are put in place because when you get guys that blatantly blow their mouth off saying things that really don't pertain to anything related to the site someone has to be dadddy and slap your ass. It's not their job to sit on here every waking minute and give people info about everythinig. I honestly don't want their job. I was an admin on another car site and it required alot more than I could put into it. I wish you the best of luck and if you decide to stay around great. I would just suggest picking your battles.
  4. Honestly it's a shame but it's the way america has been going. Think about it. The mom and pop stores. The REAL auto parts st re.. that uses catalogs. They are gone the way of the dinosaur. Unfortunately all too many people go to the Vato zone or advance auto checker.. all those stores will hire a kid who can barely pass a drug test after he has studied. Why people go there? Their mass volume buying power allows them to sell the parts we need cheaper. I am all for free enterprise.. but the wal mart's and the autozones are crushing the little guys and it's what makes it damn near impossible to get good service. Mainly because the mentality of the big giant stores is if we dont satisfy you who cares the next guy will be thrilled cause we are cheaper than bob's auto parts so we will have a win with him. Myself personally. I avoid the autozone and the bigger chain stores as much as I can. I almost always go to napa or lee or car quest wherever I can find a smaller parts store. Granted you have retards everywhere but at the smaller places you don't have it as bad you can go to a napa and ask for plugs for a 350 chevy and not hear.. what make and model is that.
  5. Makes me miss my 99 hoe cept mine as a po po ho ho haha The rims look tight
  6. Did he offer you blinker fluid to go with your purchase?
  7. There is little to no difference in the brackets other than the actual blower height in relation to the heads. I ran the older bracket on my 05 with very impressive results.. and I do know that they had issues early on with the ABS module interfering and they did offer a relocation kit for that specific instance. When it comes down to the location of everything in the engine bay. The frame rails and the engine mounts are exactly the same from 99-06 there are very few little differences and most of them are body part mounting points. There are advantages to the "newer" bracket because with the increased height off the head you do get more clearance behind the blower and you get more belt wrap with how they positioned the blower in the bracket. The first design used two idler pulleys to make up for the surface area that a single pulley lacked. Rather than the blower mounting orientation. I have run and fabricated piping on both brackets and both can be made to work. As for the question as to is procharger the only one to sell them. Yes. They are part of their kit and they hold the rights to reproduction. So the only way to obtain them is from them directly or a dealer or buying one used. And people that know me around the site know I have been pretty heavily involved in procharger for years. So it's coming from a credible source

  23. Random and somewhat unrelated.. Do you think his diesel muffler would be any quieter than the corsa? I run the 4 inch corsa diesel muf right now with the 4 inch setup I have on my VHO and it is god awful loud which... usually I love but local law enforcement where I am in VA now clearly does not love that... so any suggestions on where to go for an opinion on it? I really like the looks of these mufflers very clean and look well made
