  1. I'd be interested... mine has quite a few mods though. I could always put it back to near stock. 2004 AWD Victory Red SS almost 30,000 exactly on the odometer.
  2. I know what he was saying... I'm just bringing up some other points.
  3. So you're planning on going FI? Where are you looking at complete turbo kits for $3,000 or less? FWIW the new FAST 92 (cathedral port) is going for $849, I can't imagine an L92 one would be too much more. I also can't imagine FAST/Comp would develop a composite manifold that produces results under 10hp.
  4. Not for a stock LQ9... atleast not for long.
  5. Right, he's got a forged 6.0 that comes out to a 6.1ish after the honing and new slugs.I'm a little jealous Grip... I want a ride!
  6. The ASA cam actually makes good power and you can find the for around $95-125 if you look hard. The idle with that cam on a 5.3, 5.7, or 6.0 is awesome... definitely a one of a kind sound. If you're looking to put a lot of power to the wheels look elsewhere than any of the cams you listed, but for bang for the buck and a sweet idle go for it.
  7. I watch all car related movies whether they're crappy or not... I buy most too LOL This one looks to be pretty entertaining. That didn't sound anything like a real GN though.
  8. BSER, I hope that was directed to the other posters as I understand all that was already said before I bought it. I'm in no way complaining about the product rather trying to get advice from members on the best route to fitting it to my SSS.
  9. Yeah I saw that, 69HP!! Wow!
  10. We do the open water drags too... them are some crazy mofos!
  11. I love snowmobiles! They can freakin fly!! We used to drag them on the 1/4mi track, just swap the track for a rubber belt and go. Going in the 9s wasn't too uncommon.
  12. Yeah, I'm anxious to see what a nicely ported set of L92 with a FAST on top and a matched cam can produce!
  13. Chase that looks really good! If I could get a shop to gaurantee it'd come out like that I'd do that vice molding it and chancing it cracking.
  14. Joe, check this out... could be a nice addition to your combo! FAST 102mm L92/LS3 Intake - The intake we have all been waiting for!!!! Set to release Jan 09, Vengeance Racing will be one of the first performance shops in the country to have this intake available. Pricing is TBD. Initial testing shows gains of 14/11 on a STOCK LS3. Vengeance Racing will be testing this intake on several different combos including our 503/449 LS3 C6. Stay Tuned for results and pricing!!!!!
  15. An RST one will fit as well. Ebay or get a buddy with an RST to order one with his VIN.
  16. Damn Adrian! Sorry to hear that, let me know if you need any help with anything man. I can dig up some clothes or stuff for you. I have a microwave she can have that's extra from my house I sold, almost new... you can bring it to her next time you go. Hit me up when you aren't too busy bro.
  17. It's a 5.3, some resources spec it at 323ci and some 325ci. Congrats on the kill... but honestly any Tahoe without a power adder or a stroker isn't going to be impressive. LOL They way a TON!! I love mine though:) Now go get you an F-body kill!
  18. I'd be interested in a 4 corner QA1 + caltrac group buy. That's the exact set-up I figured I'd have to fabricate myself! Well as long as I don't need to plan on winning the MegaMillions to afford it anyway... Could've really used that with the H/C N2O LQ9 and SS4000 LOL, maybe actually able to spray outta the hole.
  19. Sorry man, this sold on LS1tech pretty quickly.
  20. Sounds good! Any pics of the underside?
  21. LS6 spring will be fine, but if you're going to buy springs get the 918s. The Comp 918s are a great spring and can handle more lift if later on down the road you swap cams.
  22. That drop is sick!! What components did you use?
  23. Correct, I mocked it in place to where I would be starting at. Thanks. lol
  24. I don't want to turn this into a product knocking thread. Plus you have to consider that there are no other options out there for us SSS guys. I'm going to mold it in via glassing it in layers. I've seen many front bumpers made that way and held up really nicely. I'll post up how it goes. Won't be tackling it till later on this summer so any tips are welcome!!
