  1. I have mine for sale with pics here.
  2. Tires are about 50% (Goodyear LS's). Wheels are waxed once a month to help keep them clean. OEM center caps included. $1200 and I'll work with you on the shipping... Going on Ebay very soon...
  3. Would you have a dark gray metalic available as a custom color? Also, I'd like the stripe to continue all the way around the truck (bed, tailgate included)... without the extra little pin stripe... Come from the hockey stripe down to about 1" thick, then continue around the back of the truck at 1"... Is that possible?
  4. No, turning the adjustment bolt does not change the spring rate. Think of the adjustment bolt/keys/pork chop as a weight jack. It will change the height of the vehicle by changing the angle of attack of the spring, but the spring will retain almost exactly the same stored energy with minor differences for weight shift (front end goes down, it will carry ever so slightly more weight). Unless you lower it enough to rest on the bumpstops, your springs will have the same stiffness as before.
  5. Congrats! What's a place like that go for in your area? How many sq ft is the garage? Who cares about the house... as long as it's big enough to put a bed in there somewhere... A guy I know just got a 6 acre lot with a 2,100 sq ft house, 1,000 sq ft machine shed, 4 car garage, city municiples, a self sustaining pond/stream... all for $200,000!!! This is what the land itself was worth... He got it that cheap because a guy that owned it died and he lowballed an offer to the family and they took it, apparently to avoid real estate agents getting involved.
  6. That's a nice overhaul, but dang... that's one tiny garage! I take it most of the work on your truck takes place in the driveway in front of it??? BTW, I still don't have a nice tool chest like your's, so you got me there...
  7. Wash and wax wheels just like you should the rest of the truck, just a bit more often.
  8. O.K. then, here goes... " " ...and you can quote me on that.
  9. Does it make a rattle like something is loose in there? Mine just started doing that at the end of last week... It's not a window track sound, door panel has never been off. 6,000 miles past warranty... BTW, dealers HAVE to do that for recalls and warranty work in order to diagnose the problem in person and not over the phone. Even if the dealer thinks the customer actually does know what they're talking about... because so many customers DON'T know what the hell they're talking about. Unless the dealer has the items in stock, or unless the recall is a safety issue where every car gets the recall performed, the car must be diagnosed and then order the parts.
  10. I had a little trouble with mine doing the relearn the first time. I think it was the "on, off, on" thing that threw me.. Glad you got it fixed!!!
  11. I like the new one, but will be keeping my BSER.
  12. I like this one What are they called. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ALT Safari
  13. Very nice roll pan. I almost feel bad for the freshman hazing... Hey, I said almost. If it had the exhaust cutouts, that would be sweet, but hey, it's fiberglass... We can add those in pretty easily, even to BSER roll pans.
  14. That's where I'm looking. I have about 20 or so "ask seller a question" answers waiting to be filled (asking about weights). I'm looking for 20's mainly, but have found a couple of 22's that I would buy if the weights are lighter than stock...
  15. Yes, but in the $125-$200 per rim range light wheels are rather scarce!!! Anything lighter than stock is a winner in my book. Know of any lighter ones in that price range?
  16. These are the other option I'm looking at. Unknown weight until I hear back from the seller...
  17. Thinking about these rims... Only 35 pounds each for 20X8.5". Thoughts?
  18. Killer Bee for me (club head anyway)... of course all of my clubs have custom shafts made and assembled by my dad. I think he has at least one new club for me to try out each time I go to visit him... "Here, hit this one... then this one... then this one..."
  19. If they offered it here, I could see a Cobalt SS in the future, especially since I drive 20,000+ miles a year... and I have over $2000 in GM card earnings already...
  20. Wow man, that just hurts reading about it. If my wife ever left me and took things from the home, I would change the locks the same day!!! Cancel joint credit cards/etc. Her closing the savings without you is insane! That's the main reason my wife and I have separate checking and savings and we've NEVER had a fight about money. We put our paychecks into a pool, pay the house bills, then split the rest 50/50 into our own separate accounts. Just make sure to keep a living will so that your spouse gets the funds if you should happen to pass. Anyway... Keep your head up pal, that's all you have to do at the moment. Keep your confidence and most of all keep your self worth. You are somebody, and nobody deserves to be left without a word.
  21. How about now... can we flame him now for not showing pics yet? I thought someone would have posted before me this morning... :Edit: oops, I see it's tonight that the flaming begins... Oh jeez, I'm busy tonight... I'm on the BSER roll pan bandwagon too, but it would be nice to see some worthy competition to drive prices down... not that it would do me any good now that I already have one, but still... <PIC WARNING>BTW, I'm going to post pics of the exhaust tips that I welded up a couple of weeks ago... </PIC WARNING>
  22. It is acceptable, but only as elbow patches on an Italian wool smoking jacket. I'd like a bare carbon fiber Z28 style 3"-3.5" cowl hood. I think bare finish carbon fiber looks trick on black vehicles...
  23. Is the paint actually faded, or is the clear coat separating? I've seen quite a few with separated clear coat and there's nothing you can do for that but repaint...
