Turns out my DMA needs head gaskets so I started the tedious task of tearing the motor down, I didn't get far but did make some headway. The truck already has Banks equipment which I may upgrade but I am told to get ARP head bolts as that seems to be the cause of warped heads on this motor.I will be working on her in my spare time so it will go slow. Kevin, for some reason Mark is having an issue sending the video,I even took a video this past weekend on my phone and can't send it for some reason, I will try again soon because I want you guys to see/ hear this. the only thing I need to do is install another file from Zippy because occasionally she will stumble/ stall while slowing down or coming up to a stop light. First off the factory does not use clamps like that and second you can tell the hose to the left has been replaced in other words someone cut the factory hose and spliced in a new section if hose to replace the damaged one that is why your hose and clamps are different. Between the 2.8 pulley,injectors,cam ,pushrods/springs and tune modification about 2 grand. I also did my 2800 stall converter $1100, and used Flt level 7 tranny a week before install $475.All that is to help backup my Maggie set up and squeeze ass much power out of the motor as possible.Its a visious/ expensive circle.Mark(Rock head) took video of the start up but he said the file was to big to upload,I am still waiting for a copy of that video but I will see if I can do something on my cell phone and upload it.Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2
