  1. No not yet, still "feeling" this one out. I don't know what the deal is but I didn't get PMs from the people who said they sent them. To those who asked; I've been looking at a lot of different cars, just exploring my options. I’ve looked into Ram SRT10s, GTO’s, WRX STIs, C6s, Lancer Evos, and for shits and giggles a high performance Corolla S for economical reasons. Unfortunately, everything insurance wise is coming in higher than my SSS, even the Corolla S (4.00 more a month). How that works Ill never know. It’s kind of depressing; there are no cars I like out there. I just can’t see unloading my truck for anything slower, smaller, brakes crappier, and costs more for insurance, just to increase my mpg by 10. However, if I win the lotto, all bets are off. Enzo, koenigsegg, bentley, RR, and S65 are in the mail.
  2. I only have pictures of the fronts. The rears (not installed) Ill have to take some of.
  3. Looking to possibly sell my brakes. Here's the deal. -Front are 6S calipers (RED) with the largest rotor possible (drilled and slotted), I believe they're 14" but Ill have to check. Used for about 10,000 miles. The rear kit (RED) has never been installed, perfect condition. I just never had time to install them. The rotors are cross drilled and slotted as well, and the largest avalible. If I do this I'm looking to move them quick, like in the next 25 days. Only reason I’m selling them is because I’m looking to buy a new vehicle and I may have to trade mine, and I’m not letting the brakes go with it. Anyone interested? Offers?
  4. I’ve got the kuhmos and I love them. Handle and ride much better/quieter than the stock crap, not to mention their wet traction is decent. They hook nicely on dry pavement too . And I believe the weight is within 2lbs of the Good Years. I believe the shutter you’re experiencing, also referred to as binding, is normal with this big of tire.
  5. Uhm, i got mine from pace parts and I don't have a vin#.... And it was painted.
  6. Mine is apart of the MAFS because it came that way (as a kit). Closer to the TB the better. Either buy a fitting so it will look nicer or JB weld the sumbish. You could probably tap the plastic intake too, it's not like there's really any stress on it.
  7. Must be perfect. Anyone, anyone?
  8. Agreed. For a grand you can do the NX kit, tr6 plugs, and programming. I walked the ish out of one the other day . Good times. Just make sure you get traction, 150 extra hp tends to lite the tires up.
  9. The new Camrys have 268hp and a 6-speed.
  10. did some key the hell out of your truck <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, although I think Id be happy about that. I want new headlight housings because chips bug me. And the rest I wanna send out for carbonfiber molds to be made.
  11. Just as it says. Lets see some prices. And no, I didn't crash it. OEM Headlights, '06 OEM Grill, '06 OEM hood, '06 OEM bumper cover.
  12. Yeah, it wasn't pretty. I even pulled the ricer move and threw up the flashers just to rub it in because im a smug son of a bitch. However, I have to admit, no love is lost for those things. I'm actually thinking about selling my truck and getting one and slapping a 200shot on it. Power wise it should be somewhere in the neighborhood of 700hp/900ft lbs at the fly
  13. Okay, can anyone tell me if a camaro tranny mount will work on our trucks, or if just any 4l60e one will work? I need a polyurethane one.
  14. Anyone do an aftermarket one, or know where I can find one? Mine is dust.
  15. I figured as much. So who can I go to, to order the best there is?
  16. I've got a 4L70E in my truck and I'm looking to buy a built one. I don't recall anyone selling a built 4L70Es, only 65es. What are my options? I don't wanna take it to a local shop and risk getting burned. Id rather order a FLP or something. Suggestions?
  17. I think mine are shot. The exhaust now rubs where it once cleared perfectly. I'd rather replace them with some polyurethane one's than OEM, since stock would probably just do it again. Any suggestions?
  18. Alright, it looks like it's accurate within 100lbs. I know mine will be lighter than 4947lbs since I dropped the spare, old exhaust, old brakes. Thanks guys, Bauker
  19. How accurate is the weight GM shows on their site? It lists curb weight for a '06 SS as 4947lbs. I assume this is without gas and driver. Has anyone ever confirmed their figures? I'm trying to setup my Gtech RR.
  20. Yes. I'm gonna do another compression test.

  22. Pretty sure it was a Roush 380R or 440A. Here's an article about the 380R http://www.roadandtrack.com/article.asp?se...&article_id=638 Ran a best of 13.5. Doesn't take much for a pulley swap though.
  23. TR55 are for NA applications. TR6 for FI or nitrous. Wires really won't make a difference unless you're having a problem with them. 4.8/5.3/6.0 should all be the same. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "TR55 are for NA applications. TR6 for FI or nitrous" NA?.........so should i be runing the 6's..? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> NA = Naturally Aspirated FI = Forced Induction (supercharger/turbo)
  24. Running a 150shot, NX. ZEX is an import thing. Plus I believe the rate their HP at the fly, not the rear like NX.
