  1. They are. I'm curious to know what all is involved in lowing it too.
  2. eBox-3800SL: 700mhz, 256mb, 60gb hitachi 7200rpm drive. It's basically new. Origianlly for my truck but I’ve decided to go another route. I only got to use it long enough to load Windows Media and test it out. The hard drive is in the little zipper case which is inside a portable hard drive case that I modified to work with the system (it has to be done). Comes with power cord, stand, drivers, and box. O/S Is not included. Here's a line with more info: Click Palm Tungsten C. Looks and works like new. Screen is perfect. Comes with cords, cradle, and software all in the original box. L98 350. New, never run. No intake manifold. Make your offers.
  3. SS Spoiler removed from an '06 SS Silverado that was only two months old. It is in perfect condition. Color is Onyx black. As you can see the paint is like glass. Dog bones and detailer spray not included. 110.00 + shipping.
  4. If I install a dvd nav tv in the dash, will my/can my steering wheel controls still work? I'm VERY behind in the car audio world. Thanks guys, Bauker

  6. Thanks for posting this because I have a 2wd SS and my friend has an AWD SS and we wanted to run them... now i know i will lose haha.. I think it will be a close race between the Harley Davidson and you. There is only one way to find out <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've ran a couple AWD SSS. The first time was a learning experience. He didn’t win but he got me off the line and it was hard to come back. From that point on I applied a little gas while on the brake and it REALLY improved my launch. I was able to take him off the line and continue my lead. It makes a world of a difference.
  7. Actually I take that back. The Ls2 and Lq9 are consistant. So technically you could swap a set of 243 heads over and have 10.9:1 compression of an ls2. Interesting. That opens some doors. For me at least. . .
  8. Yes. I didn't know there was any other. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That was what I meant. Won't cylinder size also dictate CR? Or, are they both 4.00"? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The same problem comes up with the LS2. It must be the pistons.
  9. I’ve been doing a little research on some heads for my truck and fiddling with a compression calculator I found online Calculator To verify my results I used the LS1 and compared to the LS6. Equating the 2.22cc difference to .4 difference in compression. Then using the same offset “Gasket Thickness in inches (add plus or minus amount piston is in the hole)”, and I noticed that the LQ9 and LS1 are a little different offset wise. Here's the LQ9 offset Cylinder Diameter .0528 and here's the LS1's .0573 I was under the impression that both the LS1 and LQ9 had flat top pistons and the same block deck height, just different materials. Am I mistaken about one of them? Can someone verify? Obviously I must be since the LS1 has 66.67cc heads and the LQ9 has 71.06cc heads but both still manage the same compression of 10.1:1. What's the difference though?
  10. What part of AZ? I'm in snobbsdale.
  11. My buddy at Baer told me that the 6 piston kit will accept up to a 17" rotor but they haven’t released the 16" or 17" yet. I told him to let me know when they release them, but in all honesty, I don't think I need them. I slammed on the brakes from 80mph just for fun the other day, and it was scary. What blew me away wasn't how fast it stopped, but the distance it did it in.
  12. The real question is: Does it make a noise if nobody is there to hear it?. . .
  13. Just curious, as it would seem that 275/55-20 doesn't offer a whole lot of decent choices. Does anyone have any pictures of this size tire mounted? Here's a tire I'm considering. Link
  14. Here's a few links talking about it, but nothing for sure. Id like to give them a shot... http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.ph...iot+performance http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.ph...iot+performance
  15. Selling them because I put a new engine w/ Patriot heads that have the dual spring setup. These were on my old LS1 engine I used to have in the truck. Returning PM <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not to get off topic but how are the patriot heads? I've heard good and bad. Do the heads have roller rocker shafts? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Patriots came out very nice. I am currently having some oil burning issues but I have not yet determined if its from the heads or not. I am leaning more toward my pcv system. Not sure what you mean by rocker shafts? I'm just using stock rockers on these. Btw; Springs are pending sale with cstchevy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've heard reports of shafts breaking. Not sure, it was a post on here.
  16. The A/C in this truck doesn't seem too effective. I'm sure it's working fine but in this Arizona heat it doesn't work as well as Id like. I had a camaro back in the day that I drained and recharged with some special crap and the refrigerant and the thing blew crazy cold. Anyone do this?
  17. First off, let me make it clear that I had no intention of making this a fair race. I’ve had my nitrous for 2 weeks and haven't had a decent race up until now. Prior to that I had everyone and their mother trying to race me. So, with that being said, bottle was open, the switch was flipped and half way through first gear I floored it and lit the tires up to all hell and left him like he was standing still. No doubt the outcome was disgusting... like 15-20 car lengths by 80 disgusting.. The distance was so great in fact, that it could only be described in AU (astronomical unit, the distance from the Earth to the Sun). While I realize my actions were cruel and insensitive, I in no way feel remorse. None. Ill admit, it felt good. Id do it again if I had the chance. Now, if you don’t mind I’m going to go continue to daze at my desk for another hour before lunch and then smother myself in delicious food from Carls Jr… Call it a victory lunch if you will… Good day, Bauker

  19. There have been alot of 65E's out there that with simply a shift kit have lasted quite well behind 6.7L's, superchargers, and nitrous. Alot of it is in the programming as well as a good shift kit. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So is there a kit for the 4l70e?
  20. Is anyone using their nitrous in 1st gear? I know most of you are AWD so traction isn’t really a problem. On 50shot half way through first gear it broke the tires loose. On 100shot at 50mph it broke them loose. I’m just wondering what 150shots going to be like. I’m sure I won’t even be able to use it in first gear. Should be fun times. Anyone have any advice for me, beside not blowing the tranny?
  21. Just looking for an online source for garrett gt turbochargers. Anyone know of such a place? Google isn't being very helpful, or I just don't know how to search for a garrett turbocharger...
  22. +1 Truck drives like a pig without a tune. And a tstat is pretty much worthless without a tune to have the fans come on sooner.
