  1. The Generals are directional. You'd have to have them dismounted/remounted to move them from one side to the other. I have the Generals and so far they are holding up great. The ride is a bit stiffer than with the factory GY's. I have about 13k on mine and no wear problems. Grip is much better than the GY's, but they are a little noisy.
  2. I did some research and it appears that I may have a bad actuator on the recirc blend door. Anybody else had this problem and know about how much it cost to get it fixed or if it is something that I could do myself?
  3. You're gonna get uneven wear and drastically shortend tread life running different sizes due to the fact that you won't be able to rotate front to back. The side block on the fronts will wear down to the indicators pretty fast always being on the front. JMHO.
  4. Yesterday it got warm enough to run the A/C. This is the first time that I've used it this year. I turned on the A/C and pressed the Recirc button for max cooling. The recirc button lights up, but the air flow stays the same (like on the outside air setting). You can't tell any difference in the air flow from the vents. During the summer last year, I noticed what sounded like the damper cycling open and closed. It was like someone was randomly pressing the recirc button turning it on and off. I have the auto climate control system. Any ideas???
  5. I replaced my Goodyears with General Grabber UHP 295/50/20's. They were definitely an improvement over the OE tires. I now have 12k miles on them and they seem to be holding up well. There is a little bit more road noise than the Goodyears, but nothing obnoxious. The ride is a little more harsh than the Goodyears, but the grip is much better. Here is a link to my Photobucket folder with some pics from different angles.
  6. While I wear my seatbelt, I agree with what you said. I can get a ticket for no seatbelt, but someone on a motorcycle can ride his bike without a helmet. Nothing but a revenue generator for the city/county.
  7. That first video made me think about the stilt house scene in Lethal Weapon 2 where Martin Riggs used his GMC to bring down the baddies house on the side of the hill. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOHvkZXnknk
  8. Check out the video. The family rolled a red light on their way to the hospital to see a dying family member and this d!@k was more interested in giving a traffic ticket. I was livid while watching the video. I wanted to beat his ass down! He should to be fired!
  9. As a teen I used to drive my parents '86 Monte Carlo SS back in the day. It was a high 15.x to 16.0 second car. They came with a Quadrajet carbed H.O. 305 cubic inch V-8 and a 4 speed auto trans. It came with a 3.73 rear end. They were rated at 180 HP and about 220 Tq. If he is stock, you'll run all over him. They were kinda quick off the line because of the gears, but didn't have much of a top end charge.
  10. Guess the Gov will be increasing vehicle registration fees to offset the drop in revenues. Bastiges!
  11. Just wanted to give props to Justin on the awesome tune. Hope I didn't put these posts in the wrong section. I gave a review in the Black Bear Performance section here.
  12. Yep. Everybody get out your checkbooks!
  13. Check out Avast for their free antivirus program. I've used it for years on my Windows XP based system with good results. Its highly rated by the CNET editors and also by other individuals that use it. http://www.download.com/Avast-Home-Edition....html?tag=mncol
  14. I have the General Grabber UHP in the 295/50/20 size on the stock 20" wheels. I have about 10k miles on them and love them. Very little noise and much better grip than the stock Good Years. The tread pattern is bad azz. EDIT: Here are some pics taken with my Cel phone. You can't see it in the photos very well, but the tire has a bead protector built in to help prevent road rash to the wheel.
  15. Brandon Lee as Eric Draven in The Crow!
  16. Holy cow! I used the search feature on the DiabloSport Forum Index for the keyword "erased" and you should see all of the threads around this problem!
  17. Why don't you post a link to this thread in their GM forum to let them know that you didn't go away quietly? Nothing like a little bad publicity to get their attention. Think of it as your own personal "FU" back at them!
  18. I wouldn't put it into my motor! Read here: http://www.lubereport.com/e_article0001396...1ynqMH,a101R1PT
  19. I run the General Grabber UHP 295/50/20 on the factory 20's with no rubbing.
  20. That's some of that China knock-off crap. I bought my son one of those $500 Polaris predator 50cc looking knock-offs. Ours came with a 110cc Honda clone engine. Let me tell ya, that stuff is far from high quality. It's a good thing that I'm handy with the tools and my dad has a welder, otherwise it would have been out by the curb for Waste Management to pick up within the first week. Its so weird, the engines are pretty damn good, its the chassis around the engines that gives all the trouble!
