Sprayed, what shade (meaning medium to super dark) is the best shade that matches the color of onyx black the best. I just looked at someones on here and it seems to be the darkest is the closest to our trucks paint color. Also, the gf just returned a xmas gift for me and I got a sweet allowance to work with LOL. Hows the process work? Do you have a spare set or am I going to have to take the truck out of commission to send you the tails then you'll do em. BTW I'm only wanting the tails done. Thanks

If you have a factory BOSE setup, you will need an auxiliary imput/ ipod hookup to run an ipod without that cigarette lighter nonsense. Send a message to Fast4popper, he helped me out with what I needed and gave me a great deal on Peripherial products and now my ipod is playing through my stock Bose HU and sounds great.

I have had my for a Silverado SS AWD about 4 years now an this is the best chevy truck I have ever owned
I also own a 96 Impala SS & 06 Dodge Charger R/T.

Someone started a topic on TBSS.com about lifting a tbss and dylan madea a very good point. He said you are basicly taking away the suspension handling/performance plus its very difficult to effectivly lift an awd vehicle and still maintain the same ride. Total wast of $ IMO

I had an instructor do that to me in academy during a search and rescue evolution. When I was doing my primary search, he grabbed my tank and turned off my tank. When your in a room with closet folding doors being thrown on you to simulate a collapse, the last thing you want is to run out of air.

Was that your truck on it? And DAMN, These guys are still runnin the old concrete SCBA's huh, down here its all brand new scott packs carbon fiber wrapped composite bottles capable of 45mins. On another note, damn that thing was seriously showing signs of imminent flashover good thing everyone was out.

Well, most likely, he would not be able to take you. However, there is that chance that it is a sleeper. I have heard of a couple 2JZGTE swaps into toyota trucks. FYI, the 2JZGTE is the same engine they put in the 93-98 TT supras! I'd say take a look under the hood so you know for sure. Like I said, most likely its not fast but there is always that chance

It wolnt work? Is it just because of the fan shroud or is it actually going to touch the fan? Thats odd, anyways, on my 00 when I installed my FIPK, I had to cut the shroud. I just used wire cutters and made about an 8" long cut by about 1 " deep and it worked for me.

Wow man, that really sucks. I guess on the good side is you can get a new paintjob out of it. Also, if you have any aftermarket body pieces that you need painted( cowl hood) you can get it done with the repaint.

Hey guys, I am working a deal with someone on another forum to trade my stock rims for his 20" Chrome American Racing RTS rims. Someone did a photoshop for me but it wasnt the best quality to give me an idea what they would look like on my truck. SO if you know of anyone who has this setup, I would appreciate pics if possible. Thanks

The guy with the Tahoe is a member of Gmfullsize.com, I believe what happened was the t case came out then the ATF hit the headers and caught it on fire. Very sad, that guy had alot of $ into that tahoe. As for the SSS, that cant be good.

BTW, youre going to want to stay away from the programmer aspect. Custom tunes provide much more HP,Tq and many more options than just the programmers options. Just to name a few, Wheatley Performance Tunes, Blackbear Performance

Are you paid or volunteer? I'm paid. Work for Clarksville Fire and Rescue, Local 3180. Been there going on 13 years this year.
I'm a Firefighter/ EMT and in my first semester of Paramedics.But we are paid down here. Still in training with my dept so not makin the big bucks yet. Cant beat the schedule.. 24 on, 48 off with paid vacations and full pension, full benefits.
this topic got me wondering what is the split firemen to policemen anyone know ?I dont know about this whole argument. I am personally friends with alot of police officers and they have my utmost respect for what they do every day, I give them alot of credit. I just thought these vids were funny

If you are looking to buy performance parts for cheap, you need to stay on this forum in the for sale section. Many people install something on there vehicles then 2 months later they may not like them and sell the item at half the price. Also, try gmfullsize.com, performancetrucks.net and fullsizechevy.com. These websites all have for sale sections and more than likely, you will find everything you are wanting at a way better price than buying them new. Sometimes I get tempted to buy something I want new but then I just wait a while and more than likely, someone will have one for sale. BTW, all my aftermarket parts on my truck are all bought off these for sale forums besides my exhaust which I bought new. I saved alot of money by buying them used. Just my advice, good luck finding what you are looking for
