  1. Just wondering what times you SS guys have ran all stock with 2wd. I'm trying to compare my track times to stock SS'S with 2wd. The problem with getting your stock 2wd track times is the differnce in temperature down in So Fla. With a 18-20 degree difference I dropped my 1/4 time by .53 so obviously you guys with the cold weather year round compared to South Floridas 80-90 degree temp regularly will have lower times. Anyways, can you guys with STOCK 2WD SSS post up your 1/4 mile times. Thanks, Justin

  2. For those of you who havent had a chance to race a titan yet, dont sweat it. I went from a dig with one from 0-90ish and had about a truck on him. He was a extended cab 04 and my old man thought that since he spent more $ on his truck it had to be faster. WRONG!!! and its funny cause I bought my silverado off him before he bought his Titan(04 King Cab 5.6) but he didnt have any goodies on the chevy when he sold it to me..just goes to show who really runs the truck market LOL. Anyway I got a 00 5.3 with flows W4M tune, LS1 fans, and K and N FIPK. I have yet to line up against an SS so I cannot honestly say that my truck is faster and I'm taking a guess that it is not. So if my truck isnt as fast as a stock SS then even you guys with bone stock SS's shouldnt have a problem...ESPECIALLY those of you with the AWD. I'm jealous of you guys and I'm actually going to look at an SS (arrival blue) this weekend so maybe I can cross over into your side lol. Good luck with finding those titans guys.

  3. Well according to this thread the G35's are quite fast. However, I've had 2 run ins with 2 seperate G35's both with different outcomes and also watched one at the track. I'm 99 percent sure that the one G35 knew we were racing and 100 percent sure the other one knew we were racing (cause we set it up). I got a 00 ecrb 5.3 vortec with 3.73's W4M tune, flowmaster 40's K and N intake and LS1 Efans. Now heres the first race between me and the G35 (Black auto Coupe) We went from a roll at 65 till I had the needle buried (about 110) and I pulled about 1/2 car on him. Second race between my friend and I (White 6spd coupe) From a DIG. I jumped on him like 1/4 a car from the light (He knew we were racing BTW) and he had me by 1 1/2 lengths at 65. Last week I watched a G35 coupe run a 15.6 in the 1/4 ( cant remember the trap speed) And I ran a 15.71. Needless to say I wasnt too impressed with the 3 encounters I've had with the G35's however my friend did tell me that the first 2 years were rated lower than the newer ones. I know my truck isnt a rocket ship but the G35's should be no problem for you SS guys if I was able to squeak past them. Have any of you guys ran a G35? If so what were your outcomes, it just seems weird how I was able to beat an coupe auto and lose by not that much to a 6spd. Let me know, I'm very interested to hear.

  4. Hey, wanted to see if anyone had their 20" ss chrome rims up for sale. I've seen alot of people selling them but not willing to ship so I guess the closer to me would be better.. I'm in S.Florida but if you are willing to ship and its not that expensive let me know. Justin

  5. Ya, same thing happened to me, some guy and his girlfriend pulled up next to me and my old man one night after dinner. He was sayin all sortsa stuff of how my trucks slow cuz its only a v8 and not a diesel blah blah blah. Needless to say he starts powerbraking it at the light to build boost and I took off when I saw green, he got ahead of me by about a foot off the line and at 45 I was already past him and about 60 he was about a truck and a half back. Next light same thing and from a 40 roll it was rediculous i put 2 cars on him immediatly. Unexpecting to me, my dad rolls down the window and says maybe you should think about buying a GM vehicle next time. It used to be my dads 00 stock silverado until I gotta hold of it when I bought it from him. Since then I puta W4M tune, flowmaster 40's K and N,and LS1 fans.My dad was pretty surprised himself when the guy told us it was a 6.0 L diesel turbo, he didnt think his old stock silverado was capable of that lol.

  6. I've been looking for some tb stalls lately but I know that you have to drop the tranny to install it. I was wondering how much the labor would be from those of you who have the stall in your truck. Thanks
