  1. not sure if you know or not but FWIW your R/T time has nothing to do with your 1/4 mile time. you could have a .500 R/t and run 12.00 or a 1.30 R/T and run 12.00

Ya I knew that, even though Im racing the clock i still hate to lose to the person next to me  At this track (Ive only been twice) its always bracket racing, so the sooner i leave, without red lighting of course, the better chance I have

  2. You'll get there (13's) Did you change out your wheels/tires? If so what size were you running. Im not sure about were you run (maybe there the same?) but we run with a tree that has 3 lights. I leave on the second light and Im still slower than Id like to be, I range from about mid .4's to mid .2's on my RT. Slow Rt's suck when you bracket race as I have, course Im always racing the clock...working on my 13et run too

  3. Heres my best run so far, but it was from back in May when I only had intake and exhaust and a clean launch. 9.1@76mph

Since then ive added headers, a tuner, and got it custom tuned. A couple weeks ago I couldnt launch no matter what I did and kept spinning really bad. The best I got was a 9.3 but it was at 76 mph still, so im sure if i can get traction ill be into the 8's on my 1/8 and possibly 13's in the

    1/4.

Whats up with the reaction time, am i reading that slip right 1.165? Just to give you an idea of my last run

    RT (sucks) .2730

    60ft 2.01

    1/8 9.008 @ 76.93mph

    1/4 14.15 @ 95.40mph

Have you ran your truck in the 1/4? If so how'd you do? Good luck on getting into the 13's  Post your times when you get a chance.

  4. no worries i just ordered a true ported 78mm TB and UDP and im gonna go to the track next month. . . .im gonna move up on the list for sure :jester:

Good Luck  Hope you get your 13et :nonod::jester: , you should be there...2wd SS's around here are running 13.80's with DR's and less mods :chevy:

  5. What kind of Tundra did you run? The Crewmax stock for stock will run with an SS and the DC is more than 1/2 a second quicker that them...forget a RC because they're breaking high 13's STOCK... The down side to them (the very reason I went with the SS) is they don't have a lot of mods available AND if they ever do it will be expensive.

Not to jack a Titan kill thread but the Tundra was a 4x4 crewcab with the iForce engine. Sounded like it had exhaust.

  6. Mine was doing the same thing,,My Hypertech programmer picked up a few codes that had something to do with the passenger side heated seat,,didn't really know what else to do so I unpluged the switch in the passenger door panel, ( it plugs in the bottom of the window switch ) Anyway now my drivers side stays on until I turn it off and no More trouble codes,, any passengers just have to tuff it out :D

Thanks I'll have to try that. I wonder if my SS is throwing codes, I noticed recently while cruising at about 1500rpms, the rpms increase by 100 or so and cycles like that the whole time? Im gonna have to get her checked out.

    Sound familiar to anyone?

  7. :withstupid: I want some too. I raced one once from a stand still (with no shift kit or TC and on 22's) and he could not keep up. Pretty even through 1st but I began pulling away once I hit 2nd, Id say he was 1 1/2 trucks behind by 80mph.

I was actually impressed on how well this Tundra did (almost had me worried)...but still no match for the SS

My bad, I thought we were talking about Tundras...Titans aint even worth racing, thats like taking candy away from a baby :chevy:

  8. hit him up to run me so i can put him to shame and let him know how slow the modded titans are :jester:

  9. 225/70/16 (28.4in) is what I run when I go to the track, they weighed in +/-52lbs. I sold the 16's to a guy for $300 and I bought them back (1yr later) for $200.

My 22's on 305/40/22 weighed in at 85lbs. With my 22's I ran basically even with another SS running 14.7ets, with the 16's I ran a best of 14.15et with a 2.01 60ft. Hope that helps

  10. So its been getting cold here lately and I have been trying to use my heated seats. I have not had any issues with them in the past and for some reason now they turn off after a minute or so of being enabed. What gives, am I missing something?

  11. Just sit back and enjoy the roller coaster ride its gonna be an interesting one for sure.

I hate roller coaster rides :jester:

So far Ive been fortunate, job is going well and no layoffs r closures in sight. Investments on the other hand are in the toilet, I continuing buying and loosing money  Sounds crazy, I know. Hopefully the buy low theory pans out

I seen this well known financial guy talking on TV (about his experience) purchasing a home recently and the routine 20% down had now increased to 45%.

  12. So how about it, how LOW do you think the market is going to go? Anyone worried yet...???? I see many businesses and or industries laying off left and right if not closing the doors. So whats your opinion, how does the future look for us?
