So ... I'm curious to know how many of you guys got slapped or kicked when saying some of these lines ...
-
Pretty impressive for $600!
AND ...
Pretty impressive for 3.64 TONS traveling that fast, that quickly ...
-
This should be fun ...
Type a line you've used before ... and the end result. Did you get slapped, or was it a winner?
I've used, "Have you ever seen an angel wrapped in plastic?"
When She says "NO" ...
Ask her if she has her driver's license ...
Has worked REAL well ...

Cheapest place I could find was online through Black Pontiac Cadillac's GMOutlet.
But it looks like there's no pricing for us '03's ...
-
I like the new smiles that we got
... Pimp needs this one ...
-
Thanks man, I am like... Dylan Jr. LOL. The truck is flawless and clean all the time. I hope my first shot makes the calender. It would be nice to see some nice semi-stock regular SSS's also....
... sorry Chase ... us stockers aren't "boring" ...
-
I have to admit ... even though I am red ... black is hella sexy ... damn that truck looks good!
-
LOL, you were asking for that one
-
Ten dollars for a box seems steep ...
-
Looks good!
I started workin' on the SS today ...
Washed
Tar/bug remover on the front, in the wheel wells, and along the bottom
Meguiars Clay Bar & Quik Detailer
3M 302060 (I think that's the #) on the buffer, followed by
Meguiars #2 Clear Coat polish, and
I'll wrap it up with some Zymol tomorrow ...
-
Props, dude!
-
Holy bend you over & take your money ... $27.32!
-
Does anyone know the GM part# for the "Silverado" decal on the tailgate? (Red)
Someone/Something gouged the hell out of my tailgate, & I'm prolly gonna have to repaint it.
Prolly gonna need a new "SS" badge too ...
-
Eamonn's human interest pic should be in the calender
WOW ...
-
I dunno how I missed this ... but I have to ask ...
Pimp, do you never take your truck out in the rain?
WHERE are your windshield wipers?
-
Yup, it was in Gasoline alley, which is a members only area, which is why perk03z06 doesn't know about it. It was voted on and I'm just making the calendar that has already been voted on. The voting will be done in the members only area too. The only reason this pic request post was done here and not in the members only area is so that people would think more about joining... not joining just to try to get in the calendar or have a say in who does get in, but just to join in general to support the SSS community.
So ... let me make sure I'm understanding this correctly ...
The poll was done in a members only forum ... where only members could vote on whether or not non-members could participate in the picture submissions ...
Hmmm ... seems like a biased poll if you ask me ...
It might as well be called "The SSS.com Supporting Members" Calendar
-
Yup ... I just got it ...
-
BTW ... I'm done ...
-
Nice post.....WTF????
-
Nice pics ... Love the sig ... it's awesome

"Makes me think twice now about buying if I don't have any chance at all at having my truck's pictures in the calendar"
Im sorry dude, how old are we?
We're old enough to know how business and benefit work. Not to be crass, but for non-members to make a monetary contribution towards the greater good, and not receive as much benefit as those that have made a contribution whom have already rec'd benefits for a totally different product ... yes, I will think twice before making the contribution ... and receiving nothing in return. I am sure you would do the same.
What has to be realized here is that this discussion encompasses 2 different products:
1. Website Subscription
2. Calendar Purchase
Those that have made the purchase for product #1 already receive their benefits by having more capability than those that do not purchase, via the website. This should NOT influence calendar project benefits.
Those that will be purchasing the calendar when it's published will be making an equal amount of contribution towards the site, regardless whether they're a member or not. So ... wouldn't it make sense to allow everyone to contribute towards the project's goals, since we'll all be contributing the same amount? (IE - accepting photos from everyone)

Heres my take, Brad is making the calender with his cash, his time, his labor and research, I hate to say it, but its his game and he makes the rules. I commend him for stepping up and taking charge on something we all want.
With that said, Thanks BRAD!!
I agree ... his project, his rules. Just trying to advocate for us non-members.
I dont care either way but I thought we took a poll on this very subject and the majority said supporting members only.I searched real quick ... all I could find was a post from Jan. '07 from BOB47 mentioning that only supporting members would be allowed to vote on the picture submissions ... View Thread Here
It would be nice to see the non-members' trucks participate in this event ... esp. since the majority of the buyers for the calendars will be non-members ...

funy you should ask about color. but thats what we do where i work is make powder. so i can take that formula and make just about any color i want. that color is one we make for a customer and we just used it to see how and if it would work before reformulating a all new one. i kind of like the way the coveres look as they are on my truck. im just looking to do something diffrent and make them easer to take care of.
What Company? DuPont? Tiger Drylac? PPG?

We supporting members make this site possible. Therefore we deserve to have a better chance of having our trucks on the calender. There's not much to argue about that.
OK ... I agree with that ... But "having a better chance" would be something like 80/20 ... 70/30 ... NOT 100/0.
I agree that members supporting this site should get perks from the site ... which, I'm sure you all do. But, this calendar, I'm sure will also be available for purchase to non-members ... and the profits from calendar sales are also going to be contributed to the site. So, is it fair that non-members, who will be making a contribution to the site by buying a calendar, are not eligible to have their trucks featured?
I'm not trying to start anything, so please don't anyone take it that way. But, I do know that there are many non-supporting members that have awesome trucks that have no chance at all of getting their photos in the calendar ... sorry, but IMHO, that's not fair.
