I'm on the last step of installing a trans go shift kit HD2-C reprogramming kit. The instructions say to replace the spring between case and piston of the 4th accumulator with a new one. Their was no spring in between the case and the piston. theirs a spring in between the piston and seperator plate. just wonder if anybody ran into this prolbem and what did they do.

I was going to install a shift kit since I have to remove the pan to replace the TCC PWM solonoid. After removing the pan I did notice that the solonod connector on the soloniod{ can't spell that word}itself {not the wire harnness}was sloppy compared to a new one. Also I have ordered a transgo shift kit form pro-tuff transmission. Dana from their, call me and ask me questions about the truck, like what size tourque converter, how tall my tires are, He also said the kit will do away with the duty cycle for theTcc. Does this sound right? Also the kit comes with corvette servo's

I'm not sure which shift kit to get, having trouble with Tcc pwm solonoid code 1860. Tried to E-mail zippy so far no response. Any sugestions will be appreciated.

This is the second time a got this code p1860 TCC PWM solenoid. The only thing I did to the trans was changed the filter+ fluid to royal purple synsethic. Their is 27,000 miles on the truck. Should i go ahead and drop the pan and replace the solenoid? I guess I shoud put a shift kit in this time since the fluid is expensive. Also I have notice that the truck is a dog off the line. I have eldbrock shortys,and a 50 series muffler, and volant CAI, Grattenil mass air flow sensor. I can't spell to good. Thanks in advance for any help.

I suggest you buy a mechanicl gauge from your local parts store and see what temperture it says

Having a prolbem with this code (EVAP restriction or blocked vent tube) About six months ago this occured and I cleared it several times with my scanner and I noticed on the vent solinod near the tank, A filter housing being loose. Now the code is back and did anybody else have this prolbem and how to fix it. do not want to go to the dealer.

I just read a article about lower engine temps. It said lower engie temps can have a affect on engine life, engine oils are desinged to run hot about 180* to burn the moisture out of the engine after shutdown and in cool climates. Sounded logical But don't know if anybody ever had that prolbem. I can't remember were that article was. I think it was search on 160* thermostats.

Thanks benkey. I'm still looking into getting a hp tuner, Because I dont' like the trans programming. And I have installed headers and a exhaust system. I might need some help in programming, I don't want to mess te programming up. I' m going to other mods too. Injectors, cam, and I'm sure their are many more.

This proably has been posted already, I look at search but no help. If i were to relpace the thermostat to 160 or 180. Do I need to do a tune?
