  1. Can someone tell me about what kind of AWHP I can expect from prc stage 1 ported l92 heads, truck intake, ARH longtubes, efans, volant CAI, and tune.
  2. The aero motive fuel pump is a direct fit in the factory basket isn't it?

    Dmax KILL

Guys a tune only DMAX can lay down 500+ RWHP..... Most of these "tuned" dmaxs must have terrible tunes. Back when my DMAX was tune only (built trans too) it ran 8.40 in the 1/8......fast enough to wax a procharged ss running 5lbs that night....
  4. I might be interested in this Nick. Question though, I couldn't find a level 6 on FLT's website? What's in it?
  5. Because most people don't understand electronics or electricity in general. They think positive and negative can never touch or cross paths. It's actually quite funny. Try showing somebody a 24v system using two 12v batteries, LOL, watch their head explode when the see positive going to negative and vice versa.
  6. Honestly I did a cam swap in my truck for less than 1k. Brand new cam, lunati springs and retainers, push rods, and gaskets. Total was around 880.00 bucks. Put it in myself. No way in hell I would pay more than 1800 for all of that installed.
  7. Ahh man, I want to get into the 8.50s this summer. I know a higher stall will help me attain that goal. I feel like if I went with a 3200 I would be leaving too much on the table. LOL what does your truck run and what all is done to it, Aldofashow?
  8. 224/230 .612/.612 116 LSA Open to suggestions, would like to have a cam that will work decently both NA and Blown....
  9. Waid at metalresearchinc dot com. As far as the blower goes, I will be upgrading the converter and trans at that time. I just want to wake the truck up for the summer. Thank you John.
  10. Will this be too much for a bolt on, Awd SS? I'm doing a cam later in the summer, but want to go ahead and buy a converter now. What do you guys think?
  11. As far as I know, ARH, kooks, and dynatech are your only options for 1-7/8 primary's.
  12. I have some 200lb yellowfin pics around here somewhere let me get on my desktop and see if I can find them.
  13. Humm that's the first one I have read where power increased. Good find.
  14. That's why I included the duration, I'm just wondering if a stock LQ9 will have issues with the LEP Maggie cam? Or should I look to a different cam?
  15. Ok, I have read several articles indicating the TBSS intake loses HP on these engines. I believe one article was done by hotrod and they dyno tested an LQ9 after many upgrades and the TBSS intake lost HP. Again, just what I have read, no personal experience with it. I'll spend my money on other areas where the cost to benefit ratio is better.
  16. What's the max lift you can run without PTV clearence problems on a 224/230 cam? Edit: changed "with" to "without"
  17. Thoughts on how it will perform in a full bolt on LQ9? Will I have piston to valve clearance problems? Specs: 224/230 .612/ .612 114lsa. Plans are to run this with stock heads for now. Going with TFS 225s in the near future. Ps I don't have the blower yet, will this cam perform decent naturally aspirated for now?
  18. I'm going with 3200 stall, TFS 225 heads, and LEP Maggie cam 224/230. I'm planing on a blower in the future.
  19. Guys I am building a new wet nitrous setup, standalone fuel system, plate, 150 shot. I am going to run c16 race fuel in my stand alone system. My question is should I still remove timing from my tune? Will spraying with the c16( highly detonation resistant) allow me to keep my timing at normal NA levels? I will be able to control the AFR with a fuel pressure regulator, too keep that in check while spraying.
  20. Sounds good man. I'm about to order my trans and stall, I know the feeling! LOL
