You know, I know im not too old (ripe age of 26) but back when i was in HS (c/o 2000) 20" rims where like Baller status. They looked huge. Now most trucks come with 20's stock, mine included, and its so normal looking. Now its 22's, and 24's. I gotta buddy at work that has an H2 Hummer with 28's, its redicules. Am I the only one to notice this?

Yeah, bro a couple years ago most truck came with 16 or 17 inch rims. Then in 2002 most truck started coming with 20 inch rims. Well, the biggest I would go in rims would have to be 20, anything bigger than that is way to big for my truck.

If u remove any TM I would suggest getting a shift kit to protect it, it probably comes with the 4L60e so u wanna protect your transmission, so u don't have to be worrying about it down the road.

I wouldn't go with a Flowmaster muffler u probably gain some hp but you'll lose some torque. I suggest u go with a Magnaflow or Borla muffler, way better mufflers IMO.

I hate Torque Management, I wish all car manufactures would just put stronger transmission in these cars and trucks so they could handle the power instead of manufacturing TM and all that BS.

i had nelson performance tune it and it runs really good. I ran a 15.7 bone stock 100degrees then i put intake, tune, and exhaust and ran it again at baytown and ran a 14.6 but spun pretty bad off the line. Have you ran yours yet

 

Yeah, I got a black bear performance tune and it way faster than stock. I haven't ran it at the track yet though, but it feels way quicker than before.

I was thinking about the GM badges im still undecided on taking them off. 2" front 4" rear drop, custom tuned, intake, H.I.D lights extremely bright mine are also extremly illegal there to bright is what the cop told me and there really blue, exaust, limo tint on all windows but the front windshield smoked tail lights after market in dash screen its the lt2. My rims are the stock twentys I liked them to much so i had them powder coated black and kept them on. Thats a nice Vmax you got there man

Hell I got a window tint ticket in Des Moines sunday after getting engaged. The meter read less tha 1%. But I could care less I was happy about what happened earlier in the day. Oh well only a $69 ticket.

 

Congrats on getting engaged bro, damn 69 dollars is pretty cheap. Did they give u a fix it ticket? To the OP IMO tint can't ever be too dark unless it's on your front windshield.
