I just ordered one for my 07. It was #14279. Don't know if it would be any different for an AWD, but I don't think so.
-
We'll see what happens tomorrow with the weather. If nothing else, a local "meet" would be cool.

South Miami, off Miller at 67th.

Anyone??????

I contact Sorsa today just to make sure that the 14279 will work on the 07 SSS. He wasnt sure. I explained to him that the 07 was identical to the 06, unlike the standard 07 Silverado's and Sierra's, which are different. Does anyone know anything? I'm ready to order.

I have an 07. It's the same as the 06.

Couldn't find a Carraige Wroks one. I think I'll just have one powdercoated. I think the look is different.......I like it.

So I was researching the Corsa Sport, which is definitely the exhaust I'm getting. Model # is 14279. GM Direct has it for $654.79 Tyberne has it for $799.99 Corsa has it for $920.00 Model # was verified on all quotes. Am I missing something?

Any other S. Fla SSS's thinking about going to Moroso on Wed? Or Fuddruckers tonight?

The SSS comes with a 1.5" to 2" rake. 3" lowering springs are available from Belltech. You can also buy the McGaughy's deluxe drop kit and that is 2"/3.5" drop, but since it comes with altered front perches you will have drivetrain issues that will need correcting (advanced installation). IMO you still want the 1" rake, the reason being that the roofline of the truck looks a tad goofy if you take all the rake out. I put in the McGaughy's 2/3.5" kit and didn't like it, I later added 1" keys also to get the nose back down a touch. Mr. P. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks for that info. So I should go with the Belltech 2/2 then? -
What is "black chrome" exactly. They look great.

Wondering if anyone has seen or tried taking a set of the billet grills and powdercoating them black? I thought that the blacked out billet surrounding one of the shopman bowties would look sharp.

I'm still undecided on the Radix. I'm gonna start with some of the other basics and then go from there. From what I understand, the installation of the SC will demand many tranny upgrades.

J - whatever you decide to do, I would recommedn going to talk to David at Audio Elite. The gut knows his shit. He has been featured in a few magazines and has great attention to detail. Let me know if you need his number, and a referral.

A couple of JL subs under the seat as Drako mentioned, and JL stealth box under the center console. It will give you that added thump you're looking for. Perfect! -
With everyones help here on the forum, we can make it happen.

Here's the video I took last night at Moroso. He ran a 13.25. Sorry about not showing the times, but my digital camera doesn't let me zoom while recording. Hopefully we'll be back on Wednesday.

Do you find that the 2/2 drop completely leveled the truck? By measuring from the ground up to the peak of the wheel well, the difference in mine is about 1.5".........so I was thinking about a 2 / 3.5 drop. Not sure if it's available like that. -
Good to know. I'm looking to get the Belltech kit as well. Do they make a 2 / 3.5?

I might go again on Wed. It's supposed to be a little lighter than what was out there last night. We got there at 7:45 or so, and only got one run. They closed the track a couple of times due to an oil/tran fluid spill. There were no SSS's there. Don't know why. Keep me posted on whether you're going or not, and I'll do the same.

Let's do it.
