Hmm probably not. 850/12 = 70 ft-lbs. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You got a point, P. Maybe I'll return it and get one a little more heavy duty.

The reason I was asking is becuase I purchased a cordless impact driver for removing the lugs. After spending a day at the track with a friend...watching him remove his rear wheels so he can put on the slicks was painful. There's gotta be an easier way...............so I bought this: http://www.homedepot.com/prel80/HDUS/EN_US...84+3966&pos=n24 Is 850 in / lbs of torque enough? He tried it on his truck and they wouldn't move, but he probably over torqued them when he put them back on.

I'm in Miami and looking to buy some new rims (22's) in the near future. My truck is brand new - 2007. Tires have 800 miles on them. I'll keep you posted once I make the move.
-
Very nice.
-
Will do.
-
Where are you getting this work done? You're in Miami, right?
-
Not sure. I haven't tried hold it. I've moved my left foot around presssing it a box (not sure what it is) that seemed loose, but I still get the rattle. It drives me crazy too!

Has anyone experienced any rattling noises coming from under the dash? It sounds like something plastic moving / shifting that is creating an annoying rattling noise when going over bumps.

I'm still stock and hit 107 yesterday. Maybe it went up to 110 on the 07's???
-
Congrats and best of luck.

Whats is the maximum allowable torqueage on our lug nuts?

Just wondering if there's anyone else on the forum besides me with the 2007 SSS? What's funny is that inside my door, it says 05/06......yet it's titled and registered as an 07.

Don't have one yet but I've read on here that Volant and Outlaw are the most popular choices.

Got the truck back from the dealer this afternoon. Everything A-OK.

Damn, you're good. And quick too.

Anyone have any opinions on this: http://www.turnkeyenginesupply.com/street_60470.htm

new pics with drop kit
Outsource replied to rivierakid55's topic in Appearance, Cleaning, & Detailing
Naaa you can drop the rear another inch over the front IMO, like a 1/2 drop, or a 2/3 drop, or a 3/4 drop - it will look a lot more leveled out but still have a 1" rake. This is all subjective, if you like that totally laid-out look then do a drop with a 2" stagger, like 1"/3" or a 2"/4" and the wheel well openings will be level (0" rake). Mr. P. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I understand completely what you said about keeping a little rake in your previous post, but I like it more leveled. Maybe the 2/4 is the way to go. I'm hoping to meet some of the So. Fla SSS guys so I can see what they have. I makes a big difference when you can actually SEE what you're looking for. Thanks again for the tips. -
My bad. Guess that was a dumb question.

Does anyone know when this option became available on the SSS. I've seen soome pics of some of your interiors, ande I don't see the TC button I have on mine. It's supposed to prevent the rear tires from slipping. If I floor it with it on, it's tough to spin them.......but when I turn it off, I can loose the rear end......even from a complete stop.

My experience and knowledge is limited. Hopefully one of the pros will chime in. Good luck.
