  1. 305X40X22 KMC Jacks & Fives with really poopie Falken rubber.
  2. Paint sheme compliments those wheels really nicely. Well done.
  3. Red Dawn, one of my favorites! RIP Patrick
  4. All mentioned are good options imo....If your planning on really driving then I'd say get a late model...I just saw a commercial for the new CTS-V coupe and its nice looking. The nice thing about the classics is that $20 grand you spend will probably be worth at least $20 grand if not more when you get tired of it and want to sell. Versus that $40 grand on a new car that likely won't be worth $20 grand when its time to sell.

  6. here's my lovely abode (not really)....soon to be sold i hope. 5 bedrooms in a nice san jose, cali suburb....basically a 1 million dollar teird.
  7. very true...and for the record i wouldnt rock one either but maybe it's the guy's only option at this point? times are tough out there.
  8. This doesnt bother me. The SS really isnt that limited of a production vehicle and I have a hard time understanding the theory of buying a truck and not using it as a truck. Whether that ='s rack/camper/tool box/etc, its still a truck.
  9. I have one for sale....only cost you $300.00...please send money to [email protected]. after i receive said money I will shine you for approximately 3 months, then if and when hell freezes over i might just send you my tip....LITERALLY
  10. hadn't seen this post till today. I'm definately a fan of any 6 speed auto but it really depends on what gear ratio and stall converter you have....that is my sweet spot with 4.56 gears and a looser converter considering im shifting into 3rd at roughly 65 mph. you have 6 years in cali until you have to worry about smog check...just keep an extra pcm if your concerned about the dealer reflashing yours.
  11. ordered mine, havent picked it up yet...heard there were 44 songs i think.
  12. Not sure on the wheel offset....Im not running 24's and what offset is available may differ from one wheel manufacturer to the next. Pretty sure there is no exact kit either...Im sort of assuming then your going to run drop spindles and leaf packs to achieve 2/3 drop in which case you can just order them seperately without much trouble. Maybe someone with an AWD setup on a 2/3 drop will chime in with part numbers for you. Might need to relocate carrier bearing too. riv
  13. should be fine as long as you get the right offset wheel.
  14. im not sure about running different rim sizes on an awd vehicle....even if the overall size is the same.
  15. i know lots of good/reputable paint shops down in the south bay...not so much in the east bay though. if you want to drive down to san jose/sunnyvale area i can give you some names. riv
  16. looks really clean for that age! mud flaps are sick too!
  17. I havent had much trouble since ive been back except for the occasional afternoon server overload
  18. i think i have about 26k on the truck right now...I dont drive it regularly. All with fairly heavy 22's.
  19. never heard of this one...i changed my pitman and idler once at about 20k i think as well as upgrading to a borgeson steering shaft earlier this year...truck is a lot tigher in the front now.

  22. here's my ghetto neighborhood contribution for today. I promise they are not my shoes.
  23. this has been pretty big news up here in northern cali...how the about the wife who allegedly grabbed the girl? how a convicted sex offender managed to pull this off for 18 years is beyond me.
