  8. well there you go! glad to know this since my uncel wants a flowmaster but doesnt want to do a new exhaust
  9. i like how you put it, it defintly is Crapioca! if your looking for a cheap remote start for your ss, you wont find it. with all the modules you will need it will add up. like stated before get a good quality system and have a pro install it you wont regret it. and i know from fact that these are not any good because i have pulled out at least 10-15 of them from cars and installed new ones, look into d.e.i for quality a 562t is a good base but if you want alarm remote start a 563t and if you like lcd display get a 564t. i might have one for sale if your interested!
  10. i dont believe there is a flowmaster that just bolts up to the stock one. have you ever looked at the stock one? it huge!!! most flows are like 13-16" . you could get any flow master and just add some extension peices. i have the 40 series, and i wasnt happy in the begining but know i love them!!
  11. yes there is an adapter to make the steering wheel controls work. we sell them at my work but i dont know the part number off hand
  12. do you think it would also be easier to remove the bed to get at everything? like i would have more room to work around, plus everything will be right there ie. shocks hangers ext.
  13. ya they are called "donks" when i was down in florida on internation dr. they had like a group going down the street. and they were also "ghost riding the whips" funniest thing ive seen
  14. what it the stock stall set at? because i do that sometimes when i leave work to spin them a little. the guys says its a "brake stand" . but i wish i could do it and launch and not spin them. also, is it like when you watch drags where once they get to the line the both rev up and then launch?
  15. well i have a question, and yes it may be a dumb question but what is " stalling it up"? and what are the benefits of a tc.
  16. i was just thinking about that a couple days ago. i was thinking i wonder if any one has a SS tat? well it looks good IMO. if you really love your SS you will have a picture of it tattooed on you! lol

  19. im technically not a mechanic and it took me no more than 3 and a half hours including the all important 5 minutes of lowering the gas tank which you technically do not have to do. all important 5 min gas tank removal! and they say it might be a PITA i rember lowering one on my uncles ford to put in a new tank. all i did was remove 2 straps. and it came right down.
  20. damn only ten min. a day make you live 4-5 years longer . hell i know a few people who will live forever then....including me lol
  21. well i got the price in today. the guy said since he has to remove the gass tank and that might be a PITA it could be between 280-300. and if its easy to get around the gas tank it could be 200. it said it would prob take around 4-5 hours. looking at the install price and the kit i might as well save a few hundred and do it myself. my uncle used to be a mechanic and did lift kits so i think he could lower also. i would do it with him. do you think that price is resonable? and i should do it or install myself? need help guys!
