well i showed this forum to my local police officer in my school. he said technially you wernt arrested. you were just detainded for the safety of the situation. he told me that he doesnt have to read the rights unless he is arresting you and bringing you to the station. he told me in many of these cases its just to calm everyone down.(though it would piss me off more) also he said about the alcohol that thats is bs. hes been a cop for a while and by the way you described it one or 2 drink 5 hours later wouldnt give off enough aroma to be suspicious. also he said that your dad should fight it about the parking issue. he said there no law stating that when your parked you cant use your hazards. but all i can tell you is that must have sucked.... if i were in that situation my dad would have come down also and we also would have been arrested. i like cops around here because i know alot of them i put police light on emergency vehicles, but there are so many pricks out ther just wanting to bust balls!!

well i read the post about the antenna delete and went to go buy part number 15113342. its the right side panel were the antenna goes without the area for the antenna. they said the new part number is 15287179. has anyone used this? i dont want to order it and it be the wrong part. because you cant return ordered parts and also the guy was kind of in a rush so i dont know if everything he gave me was 100% good. any ideas?

just wanted to know what company makes the billet 5 pc grills? and are they bolt over for a street scence ss bumper cover or will they only fit stock ss...any help would be nice.

i was just planing on doing it on the pass side.

not that big of a deal but just put in my order for a new 40 series flowmaster. going to do a custom exhaust with it exiting in front of the rear wheels or not showing at all or throught the roll pan dont know yet but o well give me ideas please. and help on makeing it go in front of the wheels. is it a big job? also can a muffler throw a error code and make you fail when you get and inspection sticker? saying its running too rich??

But if i add that line of fire led bar i should be covered? idk really dont care if i get pulled over for that at least it will look good

what would be the point to keep the factory radio in the truck? i have never heard of that...ever (but i might be wrong...but i doubt it on this) i think they just wanted money.....

yes there something witht he newer trucks that use the door chime throught the facotry sound system. there was a post up here a little while ago saying that it can throw a error code,but im not sure. and yes there is a harnnes that you can buy to use factory steerign wheel controls. my boss put one in on his avalanche. it was expensive but not to bad. if you have any question pm me i install mobile electronics at work so i can ask the guy how he installed it.

i am looking into a louder muffler. im currently using a 50 series flowmaster. i am looking into a super 40. are they any good? and which one is better super 40 or original 40? i have a 4.8 v8 if that is any help. just looking for a more powerfull sound!!!!

well first off i would like to thankyou for all the other help you guys have giiven me in the past. so i hope i will get the same response. first off i am planning on removing my emblem like some of you have done but one of my freinds said thats illegal because people or cops will not be able to identify your car? dont know if its true but kind of make sense. also has anyone ever had a problem with a noise coming fromn the dash. it seems like when i am at idle and my radio is off i can hear like popping/moving noise coming from the dash. any one have ideas what it is? thats all i can think of now if i remeber some later ill post them!!!! EDIT* also i was wondering about smoking my tailights, is this illegal too? ii was thinking about putting that line of fire bettween my bed and tailgate just to be on the safe side. any other ideas?

what do you guys all recomend for shorty headers? im looking for good pair but not to expesive. i saw summit header for like a couple 100. are they any good. just a little something to help breath better not looking for high hp gains

there is a roll pan that everyone practically has its bsre search around here and you will find it. i actulllay think there is a group buy going on right now so maybe you can get into that.

ya i heard the Wii is coming out sunday i think.i dont know if it will be as much of a craze as the ps3 but i heard ther really fun for partys because you have to move to play the game. well if it so popular like the ps3 ill defintly be outside waiting for one. a couple hundred bucks profit is better than none. i highly doubt the wil be selling for 1000's but i might be wrong.

what will it take to spin both tires on a burnout. lately i have been doing a couple more burnouts and i can only get the pass tire to spin. i have a 04 silvy reg cab. i dont know if i have posi traction or what but i would like both tires to spin. and to change this would you recomend doing it or no? is this safe to drive with two tires spining together, like if you get stuck in snow or mud? i know it might be stupid but i dont like 1 tire to spin...sometimes both spin but only when im on gravel or its wet!!

i love that idea about sellign it on ebay but i heard that ebay will not let you sell a ps3 unless your a powerseller and have a feed back of 98.5% or better. so all those people you saw in line better be powersellers. because me and a couple freinds were going to pitch the money buy one and slell it for 1000 or whatever we could get it for. but when we heard about that we were gladd we didnt get one because we woulda been out like 700. but its just like us if we had the money and chevy came out with their concept silverado and they were rare some of us with the money would wait for one!!!!

i did a post like this a little while back. asking the same question. i like both but what i have come to see is that the goodmark makes the truck look more souped up. like it has a supercharger underneath.lol and the reflexxion folows the line better making it look like a factory cowl hood(if they had one) IMO i would go for the goodmark. p.s i love how the goodmark goes over the wiper area.

not a bad price. though i work for a company that get these prices at foactory cost and i can tell you that that mark up price is crazy. i would look for a used one or become freinds with a keystone dealer and maybe they will let you have it for a cheaper price.
