does anyone have the transgo shift kit from tbryne...and is it any good. i see peopel talk about serirs 2 or 3 which is better. does that come with servos?

about the ss die cast i have seen a r/c model for the ss intimidator at walmart for 50 bucks not bad.. nice crome wheels and the coreect interior!!

ill still need this stuff even thought im not uing it for racing? i went to my tranny shop and the said 200-250 for the shift kit install and 90 for the vette serov and for that and the kit to be installed 310! so that would be about $510 with the price id get my s.k for tbyrne. i dont even think thats worth it anymore.i just wanted it to be fun to drive chipring second but with al this other stuff you guys say i need im wasting money that i could use on other things! plus if its installed wrong and i blow a tranny im F'd a couple 2K for a new tranny!! please help me out. p.s what would i need to do to my pcm for this. remove torque mang?

oic but im not having my truck for racing. my truck wiljust be a regular street truck and not intended for racing. granted i will race a couple of time and will drive it hard, but do you still think i would need new all servos? o ya is there only four or more? so no damage if i just install a shift kit corecct?

why do i need a billet or vette second servo and a billet acumlator piston? why only second and not 1-2 2-3 3-4 and a billet acumulator psiton, only need one or what? and why do i need these parts for my shift kit, what would happen if i dont put it in? kyle

well i have been reading post of c.a.i and how they make a sound? sorry to ask a dumb newbie question. but what does it sound like. i have neer had experiences with cai so im totally lost. also does the volant make a good sound. i see that they have good hp gains and torque so thats what im going with, but i want to know if the "sound" is good. thanks

well thats not my truck thats chevy mans truck. im using his for ideas. and yes the rst do have it coming out the roll pan my buddy has one and it looks nice. i wanted to do this to the street scence one but its urathane and i dont want to melt the thing.....but hopefully my truk will look like this by the end of the winter

well i have been looking around for rims latley but im not really into anything that i see. i love the stock ss whells and i think it would look good on a clone but what do you guys think of an offset? like 20's up front and 22's up back. think that would look of or no?

dont know exactly were this goes but if i get a shift kit will i need to program my pcm for this? and if i have to what else should i tune in the pcm to make more hp. also if i dont program the pcm any problems you guys know of? any help would be good kyle

thats what i was talking about with my uncle. he knows everything about old cars but new ones he doesnt. so he doesnt know of messing up a 02 sensor or other computer error codes

street scence makes a bed wing kit. looks like the intimidator wing execpt the side caps are molded in to bed rail caps i think it goes go like 400 all together but not sure. but go check them out it is worth a try.

um i dont understand what your saying. im not talking about the area that attaches to the motor im talking about the other side that would connect to the exhaust pipes. he said cracking them liek cracking them open so it sound like running open headers just not as loud?

well my uncle has been a mechanic since he was like 10. he loves cars but stopped working on them a while ago. he still know what he is doing but these newer trucks/cars are "out of his league" as he says. hes more of a hotrod guy and when i told him about me wanting to get header he was very pleased. he told me to get a good set and crack them. i was like wtf but he said cracking is when you put a nut or a couple of washers between the header and exhaust flange. the one that is conected to the cat conveter. he said it sounds amazing. i was just wondering if anyone has done this on there silverados? he also said to get ceramic coated only? that a good choice? kyle

Well since not many people have given me a lot of answers on this ill explain what im looking for better. if i just get a shift kit just that nothing else will my tranny survive? and if i dont do a tune will my shift still be firm if i get a kit or will they go back to stock? also what else exactly would i need to make this work not..."well if you have the money get this..or this". parts exactly just to make it shift firm/hard with out breaking? also can is there a kit were 1-2 is frim but 2-3,3-4 is hard? i really want one because everyone says there a blast to drive. just dont want to get one have fun for a month then my tranny blows? please help?

i know i have posted up post about shift kits but now im really wanting to get one soon. so which is the best and what would you recomend for a 4.8 v8 silverado rgcb. will i need to program my pcm for this, and will this hurt my tranny/engine? i want firm shifts, not neck breaking but better than stock that wont blow my tranny or rear end. any help would be great, also how much would it cost to install a guy i new said about 200 for install, is that right or too high? please let me know i want to do this in the next few weeks. kyle

well im getting a cai soon but i need to know which is good. i heard k&n isnt that good because the oil in the filter F's up the m.a.s. i was also thinking of that new fram boost 02. its says a gain of like 16hp. and that volant looks good but its expensive. any other good ones. or which do you think is the best. thanks kyle p.s i should be making a little hp gains with this right?

well i just wanted to say that i finally met a member from this site. i met up with mike or know here as gixxerrider. very nice guy came, up from va to his hometown of fall river ma. doing some recruting for the navy. he showed up at my work, so happy he came then so i could take a break. i had a nice talk with him and i can say that his truck is bad @$$. second intimidator that i have ever seen. hopefully we will meet up again. and maybe meet some other members. all i can say is that when he left i heard the power and the tires scheerching down the street. well just wanted to tell you that mikes a good guy and hopefully ill meet some more of you. kyle p.s did i mention his truck is bad @$$. i think all ss clolors look good. i have a black truck so of course im going to say black...but the arrival blue looks nice also.
