I'm not sure what you will need to not hurt the truck but while you're in there you should upgrade to billet or corvette servos and a billet accumulator piston. Oh yeah, a trail blazer or other higher stall torque converter would be nice too! Other than that, just be sure not to mess with the line pressure in the pcm too much after the shift kit. well im looking for some rims now. i realy want the ss wheels. but what i need help on is size. my buddy has 20s on his rgcb silverado and they look nice but kind of small in the big wheel well. iplan on lowering my truck to a 2/4 so what would fit or look better 20s or 22s. any help would help.

well i have already posted about a shift kit and i searched alot already and couldnt find the answer to my question.. what im looking for is what other mods do i need to get after a shift kit...is ther anything else i need so i dont f@#k up my truck. and installtion how hard/easy is it to do can i do it myself. and how much does a quality one go for....thankz for any help kyle

finally had a chance to play with a real ss. not a clone one....coming home from work in my soon to be clone i saw a black ss. went on the side of him and was admiring the truck for about a 1/2 mile. then he started reving up and keppt looking. now i know i had no chance with him but i said what the hell its fun so we satrted reving them up at a light and went. well lets say i had 1/2 a truck on him for ooo about 1second if that lol. but it was fun he defintly was leting off so i could catch up...nice guy though we pulled over to a parking lot and the first words out of my mouth was "woooowww" we started talkign about his truck and i told him about my plans about mine. he liekd the idea. we talked for a lil bit..should have told him about this site... but i just want to let you guys know ho wmuch i love your trucks and how powerful they are. can finally say that i beat on my truck for the first time today. not going to lie defintly kicked me back in my seat a few times...and thats with a 4.8 cant imagine what your 6.0 must fell like......... kyle

well i already do spray in bedliners. we use armothane but i cant see my elf working for someone my whole life. i hate authority and dont want to be told what to do i want to own my own bus. but dont no what. i love making things and would love to build customs cars but around here in mass. there isnt to much of a high demand for that stuff....byut please keep them coming...i want ideas

well im 17 and looking for colleges to go to. and i dont know what i want to do. so what im asking is if you could tell me what you guys do. i need ideas. i want to do something with automotive but i dont want to be a grease monkey as my mom says. i love electronics nad currently work in a autmotive electrnics shop installing remote starts and alarms. so i kind of want to get other ideas in my head of what i could do. im pretty much narrow minded with what i want to do because i really have not goten any other outside ideas. so if you could tell me what you do? plus if all of you can aford beautiful ss's i think you must make decent money so i gueese these jobs must be interesting.... kyle

well i guess linex has a school but i just had to go for a 2 day training session..... idk i like over rail but its your truck....plus i love that emblem that was put in.

y athat what a guy at work said he said a sould color sand all the rough areas. touch up the really bad ones. then he said color sand the whole truck then clear coat it. but idk? $7200 for a piant job is a little high for me. but ill still look around for answers.

were i work we also spary in bedliners. we use armorthane. most of the people we have sprayed go under the rail. but if you use your truck alot i say go over rail...more protection the better. just my $0.02 ~~kyle

well i was lookign around for headers. i see alot of guys are using pacesetters. i was lookign at autopartswarehouse.com and they say they are for off road use only. they are the quick trip part number72C2264. i was wondering if you guys have a different set and if so were can i get them. kyle

well i bought my truck used. found out that the guy before me was a old man and died. but this old man didnt take that much care of the apperance and rarely drove it. (has proballby 35000 miles on it) now dont get me wrong the truck is mint except for the paint. its black so ofcourse you can see like the minor scratches from washing. but theres also a couple of noticable scratches on the bed. i dont know how to fix it. there do deep to buff out but not throught the primer.(there only about 1 or 3 inches long) now i have a new hood, roll pan and ss bumper coming in and that needs to be painted. so do you thinki should get the whole truck painted as well??? now the truck was prevesously clear coated by the old guy...gueese he got hit because they didnt remove the fender flares. so ther is a lip of paint were the fender flares meet the body. so thats another reason i was thinking about painting it....so do you guys know how much a decent black paint job will cost. or other ways to remove fine scatches..like polsihes or waxes??? any help would be great.(sorry about the long post) ~~kyle

well i am looking for a goodmark cowl induction hood. i live in mass so areas around here would be better then having it shipped. also i am open to other designs so if you have onelet me know.. p.s is there a way to find a goodmark dealer near 02726 so i dont have to pay shipping? thankz kyle soory guys put this in the wrong area....anyone know how to delete it????

look for a dealer that uses keystone. that what we use at work. and if you buddies with the guys they might let you have it for ther price or even jobber price. thats what i get my parts at

i was thinking about doing the same thing becuase i didnt wan tto take mine apart but then someone said that the paint would chip because of all the road chips ie, rocks sand ext. they said tailight dont reallly dont get that much debree so they stay good. but idk thats just advice i heard. if it were me i would like to get more opinios before i do anything. just my 2 cent

well i have a 04 silverado ls rgcb. 4.8 v8 it is pretty fast compared to all my freinds trucks and cars. but i need more. need to be like you guys and your powerfull 6.0. i was thinking about saving and putting on a supercharger. now im not 100% up to date with all this stuff so thats why i came here. i want something reliable. even though i wont drive it in the winteri will all the other times. but i was wondering what other kind of work will need to be done. like do i need new heads, valves, rods, stuff like that. or can i get a kit and bolt on to the stock parts. and could you get me an estimate of how much you payed for yours? remember im 16 so im not able to go get the best on the market but i will get a good one. and help will be apprecitated. kyle

thats nice too. to bad it isnt functional. i think ive decided to go with the goodmark. they both look similiar but i think the goodmark gives it a more souped up look then the wider look of the reflexxion...in my opinion. plus i love how it extends over the wiper area. but its not set in stone so keep the pictures coming. kyle

hey jac do you think you could get me a side picture of the reflexxion. sorry to bother you but i see that the goodmark comes back like over the wisheild wipers. plus i want to compare the hights betwen the two thank you.
