  1. My vmax sits 1 inch higher in the rear stock I think because of the towing package that it has. The back is definitely not lower than the front. The pic almost makes it look like that but the back is still a smidge higher. It sits fairly level

  2. Just got done! Looks legit. Thanks guys. It was too dark to get photos so prob tomorrow. Also took off my hitch and spare tire bullshit since I don't use either. I did smash my finger in between the leaf and the bed on my first side I did. Luckily it was my left hand because I just barely got my finger out by pulling down on the leaf for a minute or two with my right. Thought I broke em, they swole up like little sausages. Lol yen, I know, it was stupid and I had a feeling it was going to happen.

  3. My buddy and I have actually been talking about making a Low Mount Cold Air Intake Kit for the Silverados. We are currently working on one for the TBSS. Can't give many details just yet but hopefully we will have the Silverado ones done by spring time.

  4. yeah but you would just kill power and have crapy mpg I think. I've never tired it tho so I really don't know.

    Yes, you lose some power with 87 on stock tune, but its a small loss (if the stock premium fuel tables were that aggressive nobody would rave about how well these trucks respond to a tune.) The only reason i can think of that would cause issues with these trucks running like crap on 87 is carbon buildup in the combustion chambers on higher mileage trucks that have not been taken care of causing a loss of cc's in the combustion chambers and effectively raising compression. A clean well taken care of 6.0 will run fine on 87, granted you wont get the small amount of timing advance that gm tunes into them, but if you are going to dump 93 into it, or whatever premium you have access to, why not just get it tuned and actually get performance gains. As for mpgs....i used to get 14 or so mpg average on 87, once i tuned it and started running 93 and some other bolt ons, my avg mpgs are in the high 10s to 11s. The shift points were raised, the throttle sensitivity was raised, as well as some other things that dont contribute well to getting good mpg.

  5. Ok I am gonna get em. What worried me was when I measured the front from wheel to well. It was 3 3/8 and when I measured the back it was 4 1/2. I think I want the 2 inch. Just don't want to do it and say o shit now the front needs to come down.

  6. I hate to make a new thread on this but I have not been able to find anything through a search here or Google.

     

    I want to get some belltech drop shackles. I wanted to know if I get the 6400 2inch drop shackles if I can also just go 1inch with them? They look like its possible as they have a second set of holes. I don't think I need 2 inches to level off but I don't want to buy twice.

  7. My Diablo Sport has that option. Their not to bad on price $300 or so. Bonus they have a 87 octane program in the unit already.

    300$ will get you a real tune. Not a crap handheld. On top of that, why would anyone want to put a 87 octane tune in. Go buy a vehicle that doesn't call for 91+ if you want to pump the cheap.

  9. If you are running with out any issues then I would not touch the plugs that are in there until its time for a new tune up. At that point you can toss in some ngks. Don't know why you would even put anything else if you knew that's what everyone runs. To each their own, someone had to be the guinea pig.

  10. I dont want to go cheap thats why im looking at xs if that was the case id stick with my napa battery. I'm just looking for people who have them and like them or dont like them. How long has yours held up so far??

     

    I've only had my Xs powers in for 2 years now. I got one s3400 under the hood and one d3400 by my audio. Running stock alt with two amps pushing doors and two 15s taking up the back seat.

     

    To early to really tell if they are shit or not. Never seen a bad review on them though other than price.

  11. I had to deaden my cab. Roof being the most noisy. Back wall just got done and helped tremendously. Floor is next.

     

    Just an fyi for everyone that is going to look at this. Do research on your deadening. Dynamat works but it is retardedly overpriced. I used murdermat on my truck. Same shit, half the price. There is also cheap crap like rattle trap deadening.

     

    Tossing it out there, don't want any of you spending more than what is necessary.

  12. yea shawn its been really bad in the past year or so they out sourced everything to china and quality went away when then did that.

     

    My understanding is everything got outsourced to Mexico. They are still great batteries but the failure rate of them has gone up since they moved production. Even if its 1 out of 20, that's pretty bad.

     

    I run Xs power. If I wanted to go cheap tho I would go to sams or whatever and get a group 31 deka duracell.
