z06freak, i read some of your posts talking about the hemi what's all the animosity about? if you ever want to meet up and rum them we can. You have more mods than I do as well.....

The titan is a good ride but when they say buy a real truck i think it's funny. I mean GM and ford and Daimler Chrysler have been making full size pickups for just a tad bit longer than nissan.

I don't think any of that would matter to a judge. They may see it as trying to get out of it because you have law enforcement ties and that may make it worse. Get a lawyer if you are really worried about it. However, if you have a friend that is a law enforcement officer that is friends with a judge that may work.

Go in to court, shave, get a hair cut, wear a suit and be respectful as all hell, basically kiss the judges ass and ask the prosecutor if there's any other alternatives (ie driving school, drivers probation, stuff like that) to have it off your record. I got a speeding ticket when I was 16 and the judge made me take a class where we watched red asphalt all day then I was on 1 year of drivers probation where if I went 1 year with zero traffic law violations the ticket would never be on my record. I was very happy to take that because all I had to do was pay $37 in court dues then stay in a reaonable speed for a year and I have a perfect driving record. They will treat you accordingly to your looks though so look like a nice kid, not a dick head. Nice kids get off, dick heads don't. I also got a ticket when I was 14 for jumping off the salmon falls bridge (you may know where that is since you live in roseville, I grew up in folsom) Well two of my friends got tickets too and me and one of my friends both looked clean cut and all that when we went in and we only had to write an essay, well my other friend went in wearing a t shirt and he was an ass to the judge and he got his drivers license suspended until he was 18. Moral of the story, be respectful and bring up your perfect driving record and they will more than likely be leinient to you.

I think he should be left alone, we can prove to all those titan guys that we are more mature than they are with their banning spree. On the weather subject, I live in vegas and love not having snow. Sobe, eff the plane ride drive out so some of us vegas guys can have some fun with a titan. Finally there will be a titan guy in vegas that is willing to run them and he doesn't have his truck lol. It is quite a long drive though from florida haha I did the drive from missouri in my 98 lifted dodge ram full of stuff and that sucked. You should have fun anyways, vegas is AWESOME for the new years.

if you don't have the radix you will be destroyed but i think with the radix you will have the edge on the srt8. Those things are heavy as shit and have 425hp so with the radix you should probably have about that to the wheels. Don't take my word for it though, wait for someone with a radix......or even an SSS to chime in.

It's all good. I read about many hemi guys running low 14's with my mods and my best is a 15.3 so I am pissed too. I think if you got better traction at this elevation you could have been 15.5 and you can lose .5 for our elevation down to sea level. If you all ever just want to go run em some time i'm down for that. I need to work on my driving as well juse. I also learned that my worst times happen when I stall it out. here are how my times were that night. The second run was against a modded chevy 5.3 ecsb and he ran a 15.2. Super cool guy but he still whooped me haha. I also burned out pretty bad. 1st ---------------2nd R/T....1.02------.45 60ft....2.3--------2.4 330....6.5--------6.7 1/8.....9.9--------10.1 1/4.....15.4-------15.6 mph....88.6-------88.1

go over the rail with the lining. there have been so many times i would have scratched my paint if i didn't. I have alof of friends who didn't go over the rail and they regret it big time now after using their trucks a little bit.

Or get a posi, that's what i'm doing next I hate the peg leg. Yeah it's weird for your first time on the track, oddly enough my best pass ever was a 15.3 and that was my very first pass ever taken. I was looking for you because I wanted to come up and say what's up but i couldn't find you. There were some pretty fast trucks though. If I were you I would get CAI, headers, exhaust and a tune and you will be much much faster. Sweet looking truck regardless of time though. If you ever want to hook up and run my hemi ram just message me on here, like if you want to see what your new mods will do. I am consistently 15.4 so that's a good point for you to measure from.

haha yeah, The SS driver was obviously have an off night and I don't put that against the truck. I mean, stock at 2200 feet with a pro driver the SS would be running like a 15.4 so if the driver didn't get good traction then that can easily be a 16.0 second 1/4. Now the titan on the other hand, I talked to the guy and watched one of his passes, he had traction and he had exhaust and a CAI so with the elevation correction thats like a 15.7 or 15.8 at sea level.

Was the SS that was running 16.1's and 16.0's at midnight mayhem in Las Vegas from this website? If so, were you stock? Bad traction? what? I figure even stock at these elevations it would have been probably a 15.6 pass or so. On a better note, there was a titan with CAI and exhaust running 16.2's. That made me happy because of all the trash talk from those guys.

I personally do not like the look of the titan at all except for when they are lifted. For some reason I think those things look nice when they are lifted.

I'm 18 and when I was 16 I had to go to driving school for excessive speeding and I had to watch ALL the red asphalts, it takes away the "i'm a teenager and I can't die" mentality pretty damn fast.

are you talking about the srt-10? as far as I know svt only does stuff for fords so i'm not sure about the svt viper truck if it exists. I know the viper powered srt10 runs low 13's in regular cab form and low 14's in quad cab form. I love those trucks and am a dodge man but you should be able to beat an srt-10 regular cab with a radix. The quad cab ones should get smoked by an SS if you have intake, exhaust, headers, tune and can get a good jump. But be careful, I post on a few dodge forums and there are guys driving around some srt10's with turbos and some with superchargers and those guys are qqqquuuuiiicccckkk
