  1. Yeah I heard the TRD supercharger for those 2 door ones is good for high 15's.
  2. So I was going down this road on the way to the gym and sir thugs alot in a scion toaster with some blingin 15's and a bumpin system yo pulls up behind me. I vear left into the left turn lane for the freeway when mr. MTV starts revving his motor and bumping the bass. The light turns green and I hear his exhaust scream like 100 3rd grade girls and I give him a good 1.5-2 truck lengths before i go 3/4 throttle, not even wot.(I'm letting my gears break in so no wot yet) I fly by him and let him get a nice taste of the V8 and aero turbine exhaust. I got to the freeway with probably 3 or so lengths on him and I set cruise at 70. Well I see him start coming up through traffic and the little jack ass pulls on side of me and i roll down my window but he didn't roll his down. He paces me until I hit slower traffic and have to brake then when that happens he speeds up and turns his flashers on for probably a quarter mile then probably turned them off for 200 feet then turns them on again. I was laughing so hard, he wouldn't roll his window down to exchange some words or pull over but he had to pretend like he was the big man. I'm posting this on a few forums so sorry if you read it a few times.
  3. I got 15/16. The dudes were pretty damn obvious.
  4. Haha or the guy on there that was a Marine Corps sniper and he knew exactly where everyone was. That guys is going to get in huge trouble as he is still active duty. Can anyone say millitary prison? My dad was a Marine Corps sniper and he said it made him sick to watch one of his brothers do something like that. I never understand these guys I like developed trait son a women....
  5. dynatechs or pacesetters. the dynatech come more complete with everything you need to bolt up, no welding or cutting and i hav eheard they install very easily. pacesetters are great too and they probably performa about the same. they just require more work to have them installed.
  6. oooooh you should supercharge or turbo charge it.
  7. That is awesome. On a side note, the new Camaro has alot of the same styling as the new Dodge Challenger.
  8. Good to know, I'll check them out! it's nice to know of some good shops around here because car and bike places in Vegas are infamous for screwing people. I just dropped my truck off at adams drive shaft on sunset and boulder highway to get my rear end all set up and they seem like a good bunch of knowledgeable guys too incase you ever need any diff or drive shaft work done.
  9. How much boost are you running on the vortech? I would read your sig and look for any reminants of info on that but you have spent so much money on your truck that I won't read your sig because it's too damn long haha.
  10. Yeah the sts turbos are nice and my truck is geting one in due time. Why do most you guys go towards superchargers though? I see TONS of radix and vortech s/c guys around here but no sts guys or any of that.
  11. I was just sitting here thinking, why haven't I seen any turbo SSS? There are supercharged and turbo charged hemi guys and lightning guys but I have never seen one Turbo charged SS. Are there any around here? Do any companies even make a turbo for you guys? Educate me please.
  12. Put that in a regular cab SS. Or perhaps the concept Tigershark (I think that's its name) motor in the SS. The supercharged zo6 motor that will be going in the vette. I think it's like 700 HP or something like that.
  13. Mat2ch, who do you think would win if you raced an srt10? Being stock I think it would be a drivers race. Maybe the srt10 by a hair.
  14. Gotta love the keypad on the garage door!
  15. I just have a spare in my desk at home so if I lock my keys in my truck I can have someone take me home and I can get my spare. I am yet to lock my keys in the car though.
  16. Ask some friends if they are AAA members. I have a AAA gold card so I have unlimited uses with it and one of my friends locked her keys in her car and I called AAA and said that she was my ride home cause my car was in the shop and they came and unlocked her car for her. No scratching or anything. I would call AAA regardless as they are a large company and wouldn't be in business if they scratched paint.
  17. I'm not cool anymore. I deleted it before the 1000 comment mark. I think they are pretty lame and there is really no purpose for it for the most of us.
  18. I really like black sheeps truck and that regular cab ss clone BUT, Black sheep was out because I have always been into vehicles that perform amazingly but are still streetable. The regularcab SS clone was out because an un supercharged or turbo charged 5.3 is just too damn slow to get my vote for totm. You got my vote and we're looking at 56.58% of the votes right now. Does it HAVE to be a GM to be eligible for totm over there? I don't go on there much because everything is GM. It doesn't have to be dodge but maybe just toss some fast fords and dodges into the mix and that site would be MUCH better.
  19. I'm not too fond of either set as I am not a "bling" kind of guy but of those two choices the dimes for sure.
  20. Only races I ever pick are with ricers when they are with their g/f's or friends or other assorted trucks. I don't pick races too often though, I normally just drive like a normal person.
  21. I love the lightning. I didn't like the look either until I got to ride in one. That blower whine is amazing. Now every time I see one I have to stop and stair. I have also paced them and gunned it many times knowing i would lose just to hear that blower scream hahaha.
  22. 2006_superado. it was VERY affective. I only slammed the door maybe once after that haha. Those things really stick in your head. My dad was a Marine so we got alot of weird punishments. Like if our room was dirty he could dump EVERYTHING into a pile in the middle of the room and we got to put it all away. He pulled the bed sheets off our beds and emptied our drawers (sp). We were disciplined well as children and given strong moral character where when I was a teen ager I could pretty much do whatever I wanted. I did drink in high school and all that but never drove and I never did anything that could really get me in trouble because I was raised to be smart with what I did unlike some of my friends. I do understand some children need a good whooping but I think the reason alot of kids turn out bad is from lack of parenting.
  23. thanks for the heads up, i will never order anything from them. I let my dad know who was a marine in Iraq during the first conflict and he said he won't order from them either if the need ever arises.
