  1. The SRT-8's are not "big blocks" they are 6.1L vs the 6.0L Chevy motors. You can bore/stroke them to larger(6.4L 392ci, 7.0L 426ci or even a 440ci) but they are still small blocks. I stroked my 6.0L to a 6.7L 408ci but it is still a small block chevy engine. Those Cherokees are killer on take off because of the AWD but then so are most SS's but the weight advantage goes to the Cherokee.
  2. Tocayo. I went with the Toy Shop as you mentioned but get a hold of chpspecial because his brother can hook you up. He works as a tranny tech at the Chevy dealer.
  3. My truck has the smaller(I think 28") radiator. What do I ask for when buying a 34" one? 03+ Tahoe, 05+ Silverado? Also, should I get one without the tranny cooler in it since I have an aftermarket tranny cooler? I also want to upgrade the alternator so do you have the part number for this too? I will Paypal you this week for the e-fan.
  4. OK here is a list. 1. SRT10KLLR - money ready 2. kcsilveradoss - interested 3. SS Muscle Truck - interested 4. Sick03ss - maybe interested 5. 8hnpSS - interested 6. doatopgun - interested 7. TXblueSS - interested 8. nickpc82 - interested 9. wild2003ss - interested 10. 03_SS_22 - interested 11. idahoBLKss - maybe interested 12. 13. 14. 15. Copy and paste with your interest.
  5. For being n/a you are a little on the rich side. Looking at your dyno sheet your hp/tq pretty much follow each other all the way up. Mine is different in that it has a lot more tq up until 5250 where they cross then the hp takes over and the tq drops off fast. Above 5K your truck is strong where mine is strong down low but dies after 5K. Is your 12.8 et with your current setup?
  6. I looked at your sig and it looks like you are N/A so those are some really good numbers.
  7. Bump... Are you back yet? Need that fan ASAP. Got some sheet metal to make a mock-up for the Hemi too.
  8. Here is another video I found and this time I actually win, lol.
  9. Turbo will be going in after the e-fan and twin fuel pumps go in. I also need to do something about my suspension. When the stock +40K shocks were in it would transfer the weight better especially since one front shock was broken, lol. Now that I put in the Beltech shocks it does not squat at all I think the shocks are to stiff. You should have stayed they let anyone who had only 1-2 runs line up for make up runs regardless of group number. I did not think that was cool, if you did not hear your group being called or got there late then too bad especially for those that got there early. I found this video of one of my runs from that day and as luck would have it it is of me loosing to a supercharged Mustang that ran 12.2 to my 13.8. http://video.aol.com/video-detail/chevy-tr...201621011165250 Here is the run for comparison: R/T ........ .050 ....... .265 60' ....... 1.940 ...... 1.990 330 ...... 5.620 ...... 5.291 1/8 ...... 8.756 ...... 7.979 MPH ... 78.08 ...... 92.22 1000 .. 11.515 .... 10.281 1/4 .... 13.876 .... 12.224 MPH ... 95.31 .... 116.24
  10. I was in group 3 but I also ran twice with a group 1 sticker. I raced a buddy with a Procharged Dak in group 1 and then the final call. I ran a total of 6 times(4 w/group 3 and 2 w/group 1) that day. What group were you in? I heard my buddy say he saw a new Tundra run 14's and thought it might be you. he was running a QC Hemi with bolt-ons running 13.2. Last time I saw you I ran a best of 13.9 this time around I ran a best of 13.7. The only real change was Justin switched me to a speed density tune because he said my MAF was no good. Did you see the Lighting that ran a low 16 and a high 15? He came over to ask what we ran and was disgusted when we told him we were running 13's. His truck is either not really a Lightning or has major tuning/mechanical problems.
  11. Another forum posted this DA converter and I used it to compare all my runs. http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-altitu...me=Calculate+DA My run corrects to a 13.372 @ 98.979 which is actually slightly better than my best run from Thursday at Irwindale.
  12. Today I went to the CA Speedway to run the 1/4 and managed the following: R/T ........ .271 60' ....... 1.920 330 ...... 5.564 1/8 ....... 8.678 MPH .... 78.54 1000 ... 11.421 1/4 ..... 13.762 MPH .... 96.11 I was hoping to duplicate my 8.553 1/8 run from Thursday but I could not do it. Different track on a different day. Supposedly the 1/8 mile track at Irwindale is at 300 elevation compared to 1300 for the CA Speedway and at the 1/8 mile it was at night with better weather not like today. I was told by another racer that the DA there today was like 2500ft. Can anyone here confirm this? And maybe compare it to my runs Thursday? Here is the thread from the 8.5 run: http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.ph...c=55302&hl= I need to get the electric fan from Mr. P and then run again before the turbo install. And I need full slicks so I can slam the go pedal without spinning.
  13. You almost pegged it. I ran the 1/4 today and ran 13.7 with a slightly slower 8.678 1/8 plus the weather and track were not as good today. You can see the 1/4 times thread here: http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.ph...w_post&f=16
  14. Yes, it should be faster. It is a low(currently 8.8:1) cr motor built for boost that still has the stock air box, intake, exhaust manifolds, muffler etc.
  15. Well given that my 8.8 in the 1/8 was 13.9 in the 1/4 I would think my 1/4 time would be lower like maybe 13.5-13.7. I had read before that for every .10 in the 60ft you reduce your 1/4 by 3 tenths. What about the 1/8 though? No matter no need for the conversion tomorrow at the California Speedway. A guy in a Silverado said he would lend me his full slicks. He said his 4.8L with nitrous does 8.5 in the 1/8 and has no problem hooking with those tires. I have tried my DR's and still spin so full slicks might be on order.
  16. I went in the Silverado. I am planning on going back next week in the SRT-10. While at the track I was told that the 1/4 mile(California Speedway) will be open this Saturday so I will be heading that way tomorrow. Let's see what she does in the 1/4.
  17. I went out to the Irwindale Speedway and managed a 8.5 with my street tires. Here is the breakdown: R/T .639 60' 1.891 330 5.485 1/8 8.553 MPH 79.73 Does anyone know what that would equate to in the 1/4? My previous runs at the 1/4 mile track were 13.9 with 8.8 1/8.
  18. Exactly, its all about the driver. There is a guy(Trainman) on the SRT-10 forum that is doing 12.0 with 1.65 60ft with just bolt-ons. He has lt headers, true dual x-pipe exhaust, ported intake manifold, BBK 67mm tb, 170 therm, under-drive pulley and a custom tune. His is a RC with QA1 shocks, Caltracs and DR's.
  19. Dig really deep if you want to beat a supercharged srt-10 like the Supertank. Chase you remember Mike right? Here is a video if his supercharged SRT-10 QC.
  20. Stop drinking during the day unless of course you are going to share, lol.
  21. I still think it may be wrong because you have the following: (Rich = numarically HIGHER than Stoich, >14.68) (Lean = numarically LOWER than Stoich, <14.68) And I think it should be: (Rich = numerically LOWER than Stoich, <14.68) (Lean = numerically HIGHER than Stoich, >14.68) Rich = 10:1, Stoich = 14.68:1 and 10 is numerically lower than 14.68 so since 10 < 14.68 then rich is numerically lower then stoich correct?
  22. He has a 2005 QC with lt, cam, heads, e-fan, cai, ported tb and a Diablo handheld I think. I lent him my 4.56 rear end from the Hemi vs his 3.92's to see if he improves his times.
  23. The guy in TX was for blacksss46 not you. For you I had Lonnie in mind just read the rest of the post you quoted. He could meet you in Qualcomm(sp), CA Speedway or Irwindale. It's all good, like I said I have both so I have friends on both forums Chevy/Dodge. I can set you up with Jerry he is from MN so he is not to far. There is a video of him running here: http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.ph...c=48839&hl=
  24. Krambo, I am not sure if I read your post correctly but it sounds like you have it backwards. A richer A/F is numerically lower than stoich ie. if you are runing an A/F of 10:1 then you are rich and thus numerically lower than 14.68(stoich). A leaner A/F is numerically higher than stoich ie. if you are runing an A/F of 17:1 then you are lean and thus numerically higher than 14.68(stoich).
  25. You are just a tad rich at WOT but good at idle/cruise. But like others have said just up the boost, lol. BTW, LTFT means Long Term Fuel Trim. The PCM records all the data as far as how much it adds/subtracts to get you a/f as close to 14.7 as possible when in closed loop(idle/cruise) but ignores your O2 sensors at WOT.
