I would suggest you have the tune checked anyway just to be safe regardless of who did it.
Lastly,I've said it before and I'll say it again, if some of you have issues with each other, take it to PM's and KEEP IT OFF THESE BOARDS. The ban hammer is within reach.

I've lost total respect for the sport and don't even watch it anymore. Fist fights and brawls in the pits after almost every race lately? What is this a hockey game? The publicity stunts and childish acts of poor sportsmanship have ruined the sport. Shame on NASCAR for allowing it to continue.

It could be an old code stored I'm the computers memory, I would try clearing it and see if it comes back before doing anything else. The trick is that you have to drive it, not let it sit....

Sounds like a clogged catalytic converter, avoid going WOT until checking them out. The flashing CEL usually signifies a catalyst damaging random engine misfire. You are supposed to shut the truck down and pull over ASAP.

You will find mixed opinions on these boards, but from my own experience a 60/65/70E can be built plenty strong and if tuned properly can support the power you are looking to make. Beefing up your 4L70E and backing it up with a good tune should be plenty to support your goals.

Should you change the timing set, probably, but is it necessary? No, but you should consider it on a higher mileage motor.

Shuan, I can always come up with the Tahoe whenever that meet is. I couldn't do this coming weekend anyway, I know I mentioned coming up Jeff, but couldn't get off from my p/t job. It's been raining like hell here since yesterday morning too.
